Måneskin Announce New Album ‘Rush!’
Italian rock band Måneskin will release their third full-length album titled ‘Rush!’ on January 20, 2023. They released ‘THE LONELIEST’, a powerhouse rock ballad, last month, which is likely to be part of the forthcoming album.
In an interview with NME, the band cites Radiohead as the album’s inspiration. “I think that the inspiration we got from Radiohead was to be very focused on creating a very specific world for each song,” said frontman Damiano David.
“It’s a new side for our new audience, but we’ve always been playing ballads. That’s always been a big part of our music, so with this one we tried to experiment a bit more with the sound. We listened to a lot of Radiohead where they work a lot with pedals,” added Victoria De Angelis (Bassist).
‘RUSH!’ will be a follow-up to their sophomore LP ‘Teatro d’ira: Vol. I‘, which was released in 2021.

Selena Gomez’s New Documentary, ‘My Mind and Me’, Is Out Now!
‘My Mind and Me’, Selena Gomez’s highly-anticipated documentary is now out on Apple TV+. It chronicles six years of the singer/actor’s life as she deals with mental health and physical illness, her life after being a successful child actor, and more. Selena, who has been quite vocal about her mental health struggles, has also shared an emotional new single of the same name ahead of the documentary’s release.
“I definitely want to go into hiding after this comes out. I had to separate myself from it and understand what I felt the movie was going to be for other people. So I’m kind of sacrificing myself. You know, I love my job, but at the end of the day, I do want to be impactful in some way,” she said in an interview with Vogue when asked about exposing her life in this film.
Her most recent albums are ‘Rare’ and ‘Revelación’, released in 2020 and 2021, respectively. She also produced and starred in the Emmy-nominated hit series ‘Only Murders in the Building‘.
Mariah Carey’s ‘All I Want For Christmas is You’ copyright case dropped
A $20 million copyright lawsuit case against Mariah Carey on her evergreen holiday single, ‘All I Want for Christmas Is You’, has been dismissed.
The copyright infringement case was filed by country singer Andy Stone of the band Vince Vance and the Valiants. Stone sued Mariah, her co-writer Walter Afanasieff and Sony Music Entertainment in June. Together with Vince Vance and the Valiants in 1989, he released a song titled ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’. In his statement, he claims the writers nor the company “never sought or obtained permission” to use the song’s title which was first used by him.
Although the case now stands dismissed, he can refile the suit in the future. However, the Rolling Stones dictates that Stone winning the lawsuit is highly unlikely. “Stone is unlikely to receive the $20 million-dollar prize he was bargaining for on the count that there are currently 177 copyrighted songs with the title ‘All I Want for Christmas Is You.’”
