TFword Premiere: Tyke & Prestige – Celebrate

From the legendary drum & bass label’s yearly various album series, we are bringing you the vocal-led exclusive listen of Tyke & Prestige’s collaboration with Angenita Blackwood.

The RAM Records story keeps getting stronger with every passing year. Spanning three decades, with a back catalog that can barely be matched by any other imprint, the London-based label is one of the top global representatives of the drum & bass genre. Founded by legends Andy C and Ant Miles, RAM Records has boldly placed itself at the forefront since its inception, acting as a foundation for the drum & bass genre and seeing through its development from the very beginning.

With a catalog like RAM Records comes a great roster as well. With the likes of Wilkinson, Chase & Status, Sub Focus and many other heavyweight names, the label boasts arguably the biggest roster in drum & bass. Once heralded as a platform for Andy C’s own productions, the imprint has expanded extensively, becoming a world-renowned hub for some of the biggest drum & bass artists to ever hit the scene.

From the charts to the radio airwaves, they’ve continued their crossover success. Receiving daytime airplay and top ten positions unceasingly over the last decades, RAM’s influence seeps into every corner of electronic music as a whole. RAM Records’ significance doesn’t just cap at the top end of drum & bass. Along with pushing seminal music from the biggest names in the game, the label has been providing its platform to up-and-coming talents through its yearly compilations, where they bring the big guns and promising newcomers alike on a single album.

This year’s album, titled ‘RAM Annual Exclusives,’ features names like ESKR, Grimesy, Skellytn, Shayper & more; and from the giant compilation, we are bringing you the vocal-led roller from Tyke & Prestige featuring Angenita Blackwood’s soaring vocals.

Kicking off with Angenita Blackwood’s celestial voice, ‘Celebrate’ builds into a rolling journey that exemplifies the individual styles of the artists on the tune.
