Every Event Happening at Tulum’s Bonbonniere from January 1 to 15, 2023

Located along the Tulum coastline in Mexico, Bonbonniere nightclub is a mainstay in providing the most fantastic nightlife experience, lavish food and beverage offerings, and music. In 2022 alone, this dance and club venue featured musicians Damian LazarusBLOND: ISHGordo, and duo Coco & Breezy, to name a few.

The scarlet-lit restaurant is set to welcome a wave of electronic music acts come January 2023. We’re listing out upcoming shows at Bonbonniere that you should check out, whether you are visiting or living in Tulum. All shows begin after ten o’clock and go on until the wee hours of the day after. The dress code is strictly formal – no bathing suits, hats, sandals, or sports shorts are permitted.

Jan 1 – Kaz James

The first show of 2023 at Bonbonniere will see Australian singer-songwriter and electronic music producer Kaz James on stage. James is well-known for his house, techno, dance, soul, and disco music sets. Kaz was influenced early in his career by the legendary Carl Cox. In 2021, the DJ/producer launched his own record label, Another Record Label.

Jan 3 – Joseph Capriati

Italian music producer and DJ Joseph Capriati will grace the stage of Bonbonniere on January 3, 2023! Capriati is well-known for his techno and house sound, as well as his non-stop marathon DJ sets. In 2014, Capriati also released the documentary ‘Autoritratto,’ which features interviews with Capriati’s family, close friends, and key figures in the music industry and explores the Italian techno master’s background and influences.

Jan 7 – Maceo Plex

American DJ Eric Estornel, better known under the alias Maceo Plex, displays an array of music styles, including deep house, tech house, house, techno, and progressive house. His popular tracks include ‘Insomnia 2021,’ ‘Conjure Dreams,’ ‘All Night,’ and ‘Solar Detroit.’ DJ Solomun recently remixed Maceo Plex’s ‘Nu World.’

January 10 – Adam Port

German house and techno DJ Adam Port has a busy schedule in 2023! Port will appear at three separate gigs in Tulum in January as part of his tour, including at Bonbonniere on January 10. Adam is the co-founder of Keinemusik, a Berlin-based label comprising of DJs &ME, Rampa, Reznik, and designer Monja Gentschow.

Jan 11 – Michael Bibi

London-based DJ Michael Bibi, known for his indie/underground house music, will return to Bonbonniere after his exploits there in January 2022. Following his appearance at the upcoming Ocaso Festival in Costa Rica, he will be behind the deck for his shows in Colombia, Mexico, Thailand, Indonesia, and Australia. ‘Got The Fire,’ ‘Whispers In The Wind,‘ ‘La Murga,’ and ‘Dance To The Devil’ are among his most widely streamed mixes, and the artist has also received wide praise for his mix of Bill Withers’s ‘Lovely Day’ at Glastonbury 2022.

January 13 – The Martinez Brothers

Brothers Steve and Chris were first exposed to house/techno music by their father when they were very young. They return to Mexico exactly a year after playing at Bagatelle, Tulum. The Martinez Brothers have performed all over the world regularly, selling out some of the biggest venues and at the biggest international music festivals. They mix groovy Latin house, techno, tech house, and hip-hop in their music, and the duo was included in DJMag’s top 100 DJs in 2022.
