Event planner Sub180 brings the Overview Label Tour to Christchurch with a stunning line-up featuring Waeys, Klinical, Ill Truth, Sub-antics, and Energy at Engineers, with support from Diskretion, on Friday, January 27. This event will run from 10 PM to 3 AM, so get your tickets now from the Ticket Fairy!

Boom Candy will be bringing the heat with their mega system loaded into Engineers for Overview,” Sub180 shared on Instagram while announcing this event. “One of the best labels in Drum and Bass meets arguably the biggest sound system in NZ. A match made in heaven.”
One of the most supreme drum & bass labels, Overview, will be showcasing its talent in cities across New Zealand next week. Their New Zealand tour kicks off on January 27 at Engineers in Christchurch. The label’s following stops are Queenstown (Jan 8), Auckland (Jan 29), Whangarei (Feb 3), and Wellington (Feb 4) – the final gig of the tour.

Amsterdam-based DnB artist Waeys graced the Printworks London, Phonox, Rampage Open Air, and Hospitality on the Beach stages, among many others, last year alone. His latest musical release is ‘Set The Vibe,’ which came out earlier this month. Last year, he rolled out a four-track EP titled ‘The Rush.’ He has had releases on Critical Music, Overview Music, Shogun Audio, DIVIVID and Delta9 Recordings so far in his career.
Drum & bass producer Klinical, who released a remix of Particle and Magugu’s ‘Bang’ last month, is also on the bill. He had gigs across the UK last year and was busy rolling out 2 four-track EPs, ‘Constant’ and ‘Destined.’

Bristol drum & bass duo Ill Truth took the Sofa Sound stage with Molecular last year. They were also on the Dub Wars, Super Gnarly SummerJam, and Outlook UK line-ups and played at Overview Session in Trinity Centre, Nass Festival, and SUNANDBASS 2022.
Sub-antics, the co-founder of Overview Music record label, got behind the deck at Hospitality On the Beach last year, among many other exciting gigs.
Energy played a show at Volks nightclub in support of Ukraine and embarked on an ‘Overview Energy Spring / Summer 2022’ tour last year. He also did a b2b set with Sub-antics at Concorde2 and took the Boomtown stage in 2022.
Diskretion, a DJ from Christchurch, is on support duties at this event. He got behind the decks at Re-Doof, Shift, and Hide Club and took the Solidarity festival stage last year. “On support for Overview is a mass goal ticked off for myself!” he wrote on Instagram. “Being my favourite label and playing on mighty Boom Candy is thrilling just the thought! Can’t wait to lay down some goodness.”
