Aphex Twin Announces First Show In Four Years

After a four-year hiatus, the influential British producer has announced his first live show in four years as part of the Field Day Festival.

Richard James aka Aphex Twin is one of the most celebrated and influential electronic musicians of all time. A name synonymous with Intelligent Dance Music, Aphex Twin has pushed the absolute limits of what can be achieved with electronic music for over thirty years.

As special as Aphex Twin’s music are his live performances, where he delivers his forward-thinking and emotionally engaging work to his audiences. Aphex Twin’s last performance came in 2019 at his headlining show at the famed Printworks London; and now after four long years, the elusive producer has announced his headlining show at London’s Field Day Festival slated for August this year.

This announcement comes after Aphex Twin teased his fans by posting a cryptic website – www.190823.co.uk which has his logo and has the same date as the day of his headlining performance at the Field Day Festival. The show follows Aphex Twin’s last appearance at Field Day in 2017 – a playback of which is available on NTS Radio’s YouTube Channel.
