LOCUS Tulum Completes 2023 Line-Up With Heavy Additions

The drum & bass spectacle that is about to go down in Tulum in March has added some mighty surprise additions to its already-stacked line-up.

We are less than a month away from the biggest drum & bass line-up North and South America has ever witnessed, but LOCUS has shown no signs of stopping. After announcing the legendary Kemal & Rob Data for their first performance in more than twenty years, the festival has now added Ed Rush & Optical and Reid Speed to the line-up.

The surprise additions to its mammoth line-up comes after LOCUS announced a day-wise breakdown of the acts that are slated to play at the festival. Day 1 of LOCUS begins with Fabio & Grooverider, who are regarded as the originators of drum & bass. 31 Records head honcho, Doc Scott, comes next with his expansive brand of drum & bass, followed by Dom & Roland. Workforce, LSB, Mark System, Monrroe & Emily Makis, IYRE and Flaco then close a star-studded first day of the festival.

Day 2 comes with the legendary London Elektricity, dBridge, and Lenzman taking over the decks, followed by Harriet Jaxxon, Pola & Bryson, Rohaan, Submotive, DJ Strife Viewer, Sabrina, and Delicat bringing their take on drum & bass.

Day 3 comes with surprise additions, with Ed Rush & Optical, and American bass music connoisseur Reid Speed, who will aim to shake Tulum with some serious bass vibrations. Kemal & Rob Data aka Konflict are responsible for some of the most iconic tunes in drum & bass. However, the duo had not played a show together for two decades. In comes LOCUS Tulum, where they will create magic once again and roll back the years.

It’s just one illustrious name after another on Day 3. Teebee & Klute join the line-up on the third day of the festival for their second LOCUS performance. They will be accompanied by Japanese drum & bass pioneer Makoto, followed by Etherwood, Degs, Quadrant & Iris, and Alley Cat, bringing a colossal Day 3 to a close.

Joining the acts are some great MCs, with Armanni Reign, Dynamite MC, Stamina MC, MC Fava, Fox, MC Lowqui, MC GQ, Jakes, T.R.A.C, MC Dino, and MC Ridda hosting the festival with their irresistible vocal delivery.

The final day of the festival makes sure North and South America experience a day of drum & bass like never before. Drum & bass pioneer Goldie, one of the best DJs in the genre, A.M.C with his classics set, the celebrated DJ Flight, Brazilian drum & bass don DJ Marky, one of Manchester’s finest Dub Phizix & Strategy, esteemed multi-instrumentalist Phaeleh, Charli Brix, Flavour, Richter, Fallen, and Squake will bring LOCUS Tulum’s 2023 edition to a halt.
