San Antonio-based junglistsĀ 2Ten PlatoonĀ and promotersĀ EMpulse ProductionsĀ presentĀ Dread RecordingsĀ UKās drum & bass DJ/producer and record label headĀ Ray KeithĀ live at The Venue ATX in Austin on Saturday, February 18. The show will be hosted by 2Tenās Mighty Monkz and will also feature support from Armand Joel, Blang, and Elesdee. 2Ten Platoon said it was their ābiggest booking yetā in a post on Facebook. Ray Keith is fondly known to many as one of the dons of drum & bass music in the UK. His extensive catalog boasts of eight studio albums, big remixes, his largely successful radio show Dreadcast, and numerous tours and shows across the globe. Ray began as a DJ during the UKās rave scene days in the early 90s, and 23 years later, he is still one of the UKās most celebrated drum & bass DJs and producers. Among over 100 remixes heās done over the years, he is known for some popular ones like Moby’s ‘Yes Yes,’ and Congo Natty’s ‘Police in Helicopter.’
You can also catch local acts on the line-up, like Armand Joel – a DJ, turntablist and runner of WRKSHOP RECORDS. He also plays house, techno, trance, and jungle, having supported big names in the past like Paul van Dyk, Paul Oakenfold, Kimball Collins, Badboybill, and many more. You can find his work on House of Tones. His DJing throws back to the underground rave scene in Austin, back in the 90s.

Another gem on the line-up is Brandon Lang aka BLANG, a drum & bass DJ, producer, and radio show host. BLANG has also worked with many record labels in the past, and is known for his intelligent and skillful transitions, smashing dancefloors for around 20 years. Making appearances on countless online radio shows, he also hosts a drum & bass radio show on Cal State FullertonāsĀ Titan Radio. His productions can be found on CatalystDnB, Bell Ringer Records and Wicked Jungle.Ā
The third DJ on the roster is Rodolfo Landeros, better known by the name Elesdee, iwho is also a part of 2Ten Platoon.
Formed in 2014, 2Ten Platoon has been bringing together junglists and DnB fans and enthusiasts through events and special nights. EMpulse Productions are known to host events in Austin, Texas, with a focus on house, techno and drum & bass music.
