Greend – The Vegan Store to Host Sustaina-Bash: Thrift Edition in Mumbai on February 26

Mumbai-based Greend – The Vegan Store helms Sustaina-Bash: Thrift Edition, an event to celebrate veganism and sustainability, on February 26, 2023, at True Tramp Trunk (Powai) in Mumbai, India. Here, you will find a boatload of thrift items, eco-friendly labels, plant-based food stalls, and much more!

Greend envisions making plant-based living simple, affordable, and accessible, since forming in 2019. Located in Powai, Mumbai, the vegan superstore houses a slew of organic, allergen-friendly, gluten-free, and plant-based products, includingĀ breads,Ā mock meats, desserts, soy and tofu-basedĀ dairy items,Ā snack items, and personal care and hygiene products. Greend organization also operates via e-commerce and delivers products all over India.

Sustaina-Bash follows on from a series of Greend’sĀ Vegan Pop-UpsĀ and will offer a bevy of plant-based food stalls, lifestyle, accessories, skincare brands, and of course, the soothing music from the talented Vikas Dubey. Proceeds from Sustaina-Bash: Thrift Edition will benefit theĀ Kalote Animal Trust, a non-profit organization and sanctuary for injured, old, and abandoned animals.

We reached out to the head honcho at Greend andĀ Tedx SpeakerĀ Sephra Abraham for her thoughts on the event. She said, “From here, I hope Greend is able to reach the right audience and create inclusive spaces. Sustainability has a wide range of topics and interests, and there’s something for everyone! So here’s to making sustainability for everybody!”
