Indian indie rock band Avora Records releases their latest single ‘Digital Conversations’, an alternative/progressive rock song speckled with harmonizing vocals and magical work on the keys.
After some time off, Avora Records returns with its latest piece, which, according to guitarist Khos Hmar, has numerous layers that listeners can unravel with each listen. ‘Digital Conversations’ opens with an upbeat, tension-filled riff that leads into a vocal melody, rhythmic percussion, and very meticulous keyboard marks. Lyrically adapted from a telephonic conversation, this experimental tune follows on from Avora Records’ 2022 indie pop rock single ‘Misfits,’ and widely appreciated tracks ‘23:00,’ ‘Sunday‘ and ‘If You’re Not Sweating To This Then Honey You’re Not 90’s.’
Speaking about the track, founding member and guitarist Khos Hmar said, “Putting it as bluntly as possible, the lyrics of the song portray an argument between two lovers over the phone. Hence, the name ‘Digital Conversations.'”

Hmar further goes on to elaborate on Avora Records and its future, expressing, “This song opens a new chapter for Avora Records. We have taken a new approach to write songs, and we are trying to create a sound that is truly our own. This song is pure ego, Avora Records’ ego.”
The five-piece Indian indie rock band from Aizawl, Mizoram, currently comprises members Khos Hmar, Ruata Renthlei, Stephen Hnamte, Sanga Ralte, and CK Hauzel. Comedians On Drugs, the band’s debut album, was released on October 1, 2020.
