Watch DJ Bonobo Live In Tulum on April 1!

After Bedouin, Bob Moses, RÜFÜS DU SOL, and Astra Club (Carlita x DJ Tennis) wowed audiences at Papaya Playa Project, the Tulum-based venue is set to host Grammy-nominated DJ/producer Bonobo on Saturday, April 1, 2023. Tickets for this event are powered by The Ticket Fairy.

Bonobo kicked off this year with a collaboration with Canadian DJ/producer Jacques Greene on ‘Fold.’ In 2022, he released ‘From You,’ featuring Australian-Japanese singer-songwriter and rapper Joji, ahead of the release of his seventh studio album ‘Fragments.’ It included collaborations with New Zealand-Australian producer and singer-songwriter Jordan Rakei, Kadhja Bonet, Miguel Atwood-Ferguson, and Chicago-based singer-songwriter Jamila Woods.

This was his second Best Dance/Electronic Album Grammy nomination; the first was for his 2017 album ‘Migration.’ He has also been nominated for two Best Dance Recording for ‘Bambro Koyo Ganda’ and ‘Linked,’ and two Best Dance/Electronic Recording for ‘Loom’ and ‘Heartbreak’ at the Grammys.

Bonobo hit the road in North America last year to play in cities including Pittsburgh, Vancouver, Phoenix, Boston, Las Vegas, and MontrĂ©al. Meanwhile, his European tour kicked off from Amsterdam last April, then headed to cities including Cologne, Paris, and Manchester before getting behind the decks at the Royal Albert Hall in London for five nights consecutively from May 16–20.

Soon, he returned to North America and Europe for more live shows in September and October, November, and December of the same year. Bonobo took the Glastonbury (UK), Kalorama (Lisbon), Lost Village (UK), La Prima Estate (Italy), and Fuji Rock (Niigata, Japan) festival stages last summer.

Following his appearance in India as part of the ‘2023 Fragments Live Tour’ on March 17 and 18, Bonobo will next head to Cape Town, Johannesburg, and Guadalajara before his performance in Tulum.
