People of Chicago, bring out your cloaks for a Vampire’s Ball! With performances from Sextile, Automelodi, Xibling, Club Drippy, Veri Peri and more, the elements of horror will teem from two floors in a church! This event, held at the Epiphany Center for the Arts on April 1, will be hosted by Cae Monae and Nico. Get your tickets to be spooky from The Ticket Fairy.
“Come satisfy your bloodlust at a vampire themed party in a church! Featuring two floors of music, a costume contest, photobooth, and more 🦇,” event organizers Sanctum shared on Instagram.
Hailing from Los Angeles, post-punk band Sextile is set to perform at Vampire’s Ball next week. They kicked off this year with their new single ‘Crassy Mel’ and also shared its remixes – ‘Crassy Mel ACID – John Tejada Remix’ and ‘Crassy Mel ELECTRO – Airball Remix,’ in January. They will head to New York for shows at TV EYE on April 3 and 4.
Sextile will be joined by Automelodi, who has performed at the Hi-Fi Sushi Lounge (Orlando), Saint Vitsus Bar (New York), Empire Control Room & Garage (Austin, Texas), Elysium, and the Texas Theater this year alone.

The Epiphany Center for the Arts will also host Portland-based synth duo Xibling on this Fool’s Day. “Thrilled to join @sanctumchicago Vampire Ball on April Fools Day with @sextileband @automelodi @krisbaha @conjuntoprimitivo at @epiphanyarts201 a gorgeous epic church venue in Chicago,” Xibling shared on Instagram.
DJ/producer Kris Baha’s appearance at this event comes as part of his In/Out tour 2023. He has wowed audiences at some of the most remarkable venues and parties. After his performance at Vampire’s Ball, he will hit the road in cities across the USA, including San Diego, New York, and Los Angeles.
Electronic artists DJ Club Drippy, DJ/producer Flores Negras, and DJ Veri Peri will share their tunes for the horror showdown, alongside musician Conjuncto Primitivo. “@sanctumchicago & Nocturna presents A disco for the nightcrawlers 💋 Bringing obscenities to the church 🩸🩸 April fools day,” Flores wrote on Instagram.
