Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Mirage recently had a possible leak that showed a classic feature from the first game, Investigations, returning. We thought you’d like to know more about one of Ubisoft’s most cherished games, along with the company’s upcoming showcase.
We’ve heard close to nothing from Ubisoft about the development process of Assassin’s Creed Mirage, and even though its announcement happened several months ago, we still haven’t seen the gameplay. Regardless, you can keep your hopes up as Ubisoft has confirmed its next major showcase for June 12, 2023.
Coming back to the leak, it was posted by a well-known Assassin’s Creed community member, xjonathan via his Instagram story, which many people speculate could be Assassin’s Creed Mirage’s menu. In the image, we see the inventory and tools, neither of which surprise any fans; what does, however, is the new section for Investigations.

A rough translation to xjonathan’s post would be an answer to several people asking him to share more news about the Assassin’s Creed series. He remarks that he wants his sources to share more in the future, with the last sentence stating, “Everything is in its time.”
Just like the first couple of Assassin’s Creed games, Ubisoft will be focusing more on assassinations, stealth, and parkour. Finding your target was always an interesting journey, from having to listen to the locals talk about the target or simply gather intel while passing through restricted areas.
Knowing Assassin’s Creed Mirage is going to pay homage to the first game, it’s quite obvious that fan-favorite features will be returning. In Mirage, people will be playing Basim, known as one of the most likable characters in the entire series. We’re yet to see what Ubisoft has planned. Hopefully, on June 12, they will reveal more about Assassin’s Creed Mirage while also living up to the high expectations surrounding its release.
We’ll be covering leaks and every upcoming detail about Assassin’s Creed Mirage, as well as keeping up with Ubisoft’s event, Ubisoft Forward, taking place on June 12, where they will shed light on an upcoming video game release. We hope for a trailer and release date for Assassin’s Creed Mirage!
