Dark Spirits Festival welcomes you to indulge in the finest variety of cocktails, whisky, rum, liqueurs, and more from New Zealand and abroad. At Dark Spirits, craft spirits and the art of mixing cocktails will be celebrated over two days with the best distillers in the land. Attendees will unravel the stories behind the bottles and get the opportunity to speak directly with the enthusiastic developers. And yes, this showcase will see live music sessions during the evenings!

Distillers set to congregate here will also have cocktails for sale as well as complimentary tastings. Here you’ll find Auckland-based handcrafted gin & whiskey distillery 1919 Distilling, Auld Farm Distillery, which produces their own grain used in their whiskies, Golden Bay’s Kiwi Spirit Distillery, and award-winning Broken Heart Spirits, to name a few. You can get your preferred beverage bottles from these distillers and pair them with the accompanying meal selections.
Dark Spirits Festival is set to take place at the versatile events space Majestic on Durham in Christchurch. This venue is open to hosting conferences, social events, business meetings, theatrical plays, and live musical performances. It brags an auditorium with up to 500 seats, a spacious, well-lit foyer, and multiple venues for musical performances, dance exhibitions, or social gatherings.
