Drum & bass producer Emperor will be making a stop in Auckland as part of his upcoming tour this month! Drop Bass NZ brings UK DnB musician Emperor to The Mothership on Friday, May 26, with support from NoSpeak, Mittz, and Steady from 10 PM onwards. Emperor’s five-city tour in New Zealand will take him to Christchurch (May 19), Queenstown (May 20), Timaru (May 25), Auckland (May 26), and Wellington (May 27). His stop in Auckland is brought to you by organizers Drop Bass NZ, who ‘specializes in bringing quality Bass Driven events’ to the city. Live & dance music space The Mothership will set the stage for Emperor’s showdown on May 26.
The UK-based producer has cemented himself as one of the most esteemed producers with releases on Critical Music, Symmetry, VISION, UKF, Inspected, Drum&BassArena, and more. His latest musical offering is a remix of Enei’s track ‘Sinking.’ Emperor has collaborated with the likes of Mefjus, SOLAH, Georgia, Forbidden Society, and Centra. He has collected millions of streams on Spotify, with his tracks ‘Still’ and ‘These Days’ being streamed more than 2 million and 1.3 million times, respectively. ‘A Taste of Hope (Emperor Remix),’ ‘a feature on Phace’s ‘IMPASSE,’ and ‘She Said (Fade Black Remix)’ are among his 2022 musical releases.
