Presented by vocalist and guitarist David Jones, Metal Tribunal ropes in Portland-based four-piece metal group Drawn By Knives, metalheads Pitch Black Mass, progressive heavy metal band Within The Pyre, and Jones’ hard rock late 80s style metal crew Crimson Guardian.

The five-member metal force band Within The Pyre announced their name on the card via Facebook, posting, “We’ll be heading to Roseburg June 3rd! Playing with our brothers Pitch Black Mass & Drawn By Knives Let’s pack the place!” The band dropped their self-titled debut album in 2022, which boasts metal bangers ‘Vilify,’ ‘Friend or Foe,’ and ‘Vox Populi.’
Metal, nu-metal, metalcore, and rock outfit Drawn By Knives, famed for their tunes ‘Walk Away‘ and ‘Bury The Bones,’ are also on the bill for the growling showcase! The group posted on social media, saying, “Going to be rocking SunnySide Roseburg June 3rd with these monsters in CrimsonGuardian, as well as our friends in Within The Pyre and Pitch Black Mass. If you are in the Roseburg area – mark your calendars!”
Known for their high-energy performances and powerhouse metal riffs, Crimson Guardian, led by vocalist David Jones, also slots in for the headbanging rager. The band hits the stage at The SunnySide Theatre as part of their string of shows, which also sees the foursome at Snake River Rock Fest in July and Fire in the Sky Festival in August. Pitch Black Mass, an Oregon-based heavy metal band formed in 2017, completes the Metal Tribunal card.
