Sam Smith and Madonna to Release New Single, Janelle Monáe Announces North America Tour, and More

Janelle Monáe to Go on North America Tour

Janelle Monáe has announced a 26-date North American tour in support of her forthcoming album ‘The Age of Pleasure.’ They have also revealed the 26 cities they will be performing in as part of this tour, with Seattle, St. Louis, Boston, Toronto, Brooklyn, Phoenix, and San Francisco being some of the stops. Kicking off on August 30, ‘The Age of Pleasure’ tour will run for more than a month. The final stop of the tour will be Inglewood, California on October 18.

Earlier last month, the ‘Dirty Computer’ singer announced her fourth studio album ‘The Age of Pleasure,’ which will be released on June 9. Janelle has rolled out the lead single ‘Lipstick Lover’ so far. ‘The Age of Pleasure’ will be Monáe’s first album in 5 years. Her previous album ‘Dirty Computer,’ comprising 14 tracks, came out in April 2018. 

Madison Beer Announces New Album ‘Silence Between Songs’

Madison Beer is ready to drop a new album this year! The New York-born singer announced her sophomore album ‘SILENCE BETWEEN SONGS,’ which will be released this September via social media. “i can’t believe i’m finally saying this, tears in my eyes trying to articulate how i feel. the closer it gets, the more we’ll talk about it, but i am just so excited to release this record. i’m so excited for it to be yours. i’ll find more words soon…,, :’) for now… SEPTEMBER 15TH!!!!!!!” the ‘Hurts Like Hell’ singer shared on Instagram. Her new single ‘Home To Another One’ is out now!

Earlier this year, Madison revealed that her memoir ‘The Half of It’ would hit the shelves this April. “it feels truly surreal to be announcing this book and i am so excited to share my story with you in a way i never have before. from the reality of being signed at twelve, to everything that followed, where i am now, and my journey of reconciling with everything that came before,” she wrote on Instagram. “it has taken me a lot of extremely dark times to get here but i feel incredibly ready to tell you these chapters of my story. i hope you love it. i can’t wait to reintroduce myself to you.”

Sam Smith and Madonna to Release New Single ‘Vulgar’ on June 9 

Sam Smith and Madonna have announced a new collaboration titled ‘Vulgar,’ to be released on June 9. Madonna shared the artwork that features a close-up shot of Sam and her in a corset with their initials S&M (Sam and Madonna) on top of the image.

Sam is currently touring in support of their latest album ‘Gloria,’ which came out earlier this year. They also shared a Felix Jaehn remix of their track ‘Lose You’ last month. Meanwhile, ‘Popular (with Playboi Carti & Madonna,’ a track from ‘The Idol Vol. 1’ for the HBO Original Series ‘The Idol’ starring The Weeknd released last week. 

Madonna is not the only artist Sam is collaborating with, they are also working on a song with Brazillian pop star Anitta. “Anitta’s energy is amazing. We connected immediately, and it just made the collaboration feel so special that there was genuine friendship there,” Sam said

Kesha Announces ‘The Gag Order’ Tour

Kesha is going on ‘The Gag Order’ tour this October and November! The ‘Praying’ singer will stop in cities across North America in Orlando, Newport, Detroit, Denver, and Toronto. American musician and songwriter Jake Wesley Rodgers will be the special guest on this tour in support of Kesha’s new album ‘Gag Order.’

‘The Gag Order’ tour commences in Dallas, Texas on October 15 and its last date is November 18 in Los Angeles, California. ‘Gag Order’ is Kesha’s first album in three years since 2020’s ‘High Road.’ The singer has shared visualizers for the tracks ‘Fine Line,’ ‘Eat The Acid,’ and ‘Hate Me Harder’ with the latest one being ‘Happy.’

Halsey and Suga of BTS Team Up for New Collaboration ‘Lilith’ out on June 5

A new single from Halsey and BTS’ Suga is on the way. They will be working together on Halsey’s song ‘Lilith’ from her 2021 album ‘If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power.’ This new collaboration is for the upcoming action role-playing game Diablo IV. Halsey has worked with Suga before on ‘Suga’s Interlude’ and ‘Boy With Luv.’

Suga is currently on tour and will be heading to Bangkok and Singapore for his shows at the Impact Arena and Singapore Indoor Stadium. His latest offering as Agust D is ‘D-DAY,’ his ten-track debut studio album which was rolled out this April. Halsey, too, released new music this year. Her single ‘Die 4 Me’ came earlier this year.
