Michael Bibi Has Been Diagnosed With Cancer

The rare form of cancer of the brain and the spinal cord is said to keep the UK Underground hotshot away from shows for the foreseeable future.

Celebrated house music DJ and producer Michael Bibi has revealed that he has been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called CNS Lymphoma, which affects the brain and the spinal cord. Michael Bibi recently had to cancel some of his shows and has now revealed the reason for the cancellations on his Instagram.

The Solid Grooves label boss wrote on the social app – “Hello world, writing this post is a hard one.. last week I was diagnosed with CNS Lymphoma. A very rare cancer that effects the brain & spine. Unfortunately, it’s moving fast & l have to stay in the hospital starting treatment immediately. Typing this message doesn’t quite seem real & I’m sorry for the bad news. I don’t know what lies ahead, I’m tired but I know I am strong & I won’t let this beat me. I will be back stronger for you all. Love Bibi.”
