Defected Croatia Unveils Stage Takeovers for 2023 Edition

Defected Croatia has revealed the stage takeovers for the 2023 edition of the festival. Glitterhouse and Waack in Paris are set to bring GlitterWhack to the Beach Stage at The Garden in Tisno while Kiwi Records are slated to take over the festival stage on Sunday. Bklava, The Duke, and Todd Edwards will play alongside Conducta.


PIV Records will be returning to Defected Croatia this year, which will take place from August 3 – 8. Ed Banger will celebrate 20 years of the French electronic music record label with Dennis Quin, Archie Hamilton, Paige Tomlinson, Kellie Allen, Mike Dunn, and more. The festival’s roster includes Honey Dijon, Vintage Culture, Boys Noize, and Chloé Caillet, and many more thrilling acts.

Skrillex, Swedish House Mafia, Fred again…, and More Featured on F1 23 Soundtrack

EA Sports has unveiled the soundtrack for the upcoming racing game F1 23. It features big names like The Chemical Brothers, Fred Again…, and Skrillex. The soundtrack comprises of 34 tracks including ‘Alive (feat. The Moth & The Flame)’ by Kx5, deadmau5, Kaskade, and The Moth & The Flame, English electronic music producer Metrik’s ‘Immortal,’ ‘Strong’ from Romy and Fred again… and ‘Out of Control’ by Nicky Romero and EDX. 

The soundtrack also features first-class artists Tiësto (‘10:35’ with Tate McRae), Wet Leg (‘Too Late Now’ – Soulwax Remix), Fiume (‘Go’ – Otik Remix), and 100 gecs (‘757’). Also, enjoy mind-boggling tracks – ‘Supersonic (My Existence) [with Noisia, josh pan & Dylan Brady]by Skrillex, ‘If You Like That’ (Unglued, Whiney, Lens, Doktor), Whyte Fang’s ‘Transport God,’ ‘Adidas & Pearls’ (Solardo, Vintage Culture, LOWES), and Swedish House Mafia’s ‘See The Light (feat. Disclosure Announces 10th Anniversary Vinyl of Debut Album ‘Settle’

Disclosure is all set to release a 10th-anniversary vinyl edition of their debut album ‘Settle’ on August 11 this year. “It’s been 10 years since we released Settle… how did that happen hey?! Madness ? To celebrate a decade of our debut album, we’re reissuing the vinyl with five extra song pressings. Coming August 11th, and available to pre-order now,” the English electronic duo comprising of brothers Guy Lawrence and Howard shared on Instagram. They added: “Thank you all so much for the continued love for this record. It was such a special time making it & we still get great joy playing these songs live. Changed our lives forever.”


The album, which turned 10 on June 3, featured ‘Latch’ with Grammy-winning artist Sam Smith, ‘White Noise’ with English electronic duo AlunaGeorge and ‘You & Me’ with singer-songwriter Eliza Doolittle. After releasing a collaboration ‘You’ve Got To Let Go If You Want To Be Free’ with Zedd last year, they also dropped ‘Waterfall’ with Raye. In 2022, Disclosure shared remixes of Omah Lay’s ‘Attention (with Justin Bieber)’ and ‘Unholy’ by Sam Smith feat. Kim Petras. Zedd, Kaskade, John Summit, and More Confirmed for Electric Zoo

Electric Zoo has dropped a colossal line-up for the 2023 festival. Scheduled for September 1 – 3, the festival will see performances from high-profile DJs such as Zedd, Kaskade, John Summit, Fisher, Alison Wonderland, and more. Kaskade and deadmua5 are set to make their NYC debut as kx5 at Electric Zoo 2023. The Blessed Madonna, Camelphat, The Chainsmokers, Marshmello, and Galantis will also take the festival stage this year.


Electric Zoo 2023 is also set to host Nora En Pure, Sam Divine, Cloonee, Major Lazer, and JVNA. 100+ artists will be playing at this three-day electronic music festival over the Labor Day Weekend in NYC. “We’re proud to host our inaugural LGBTQ stage: Dreamland, presented by the esteemed event producer, promoter, and one of Out100’s Most Influential LGBTQ People of the Year in 2018, Jake Resnicow. This dedicated stage will celebrate the rich diversity within the dance music world,” Electric Zoo announced on Instagram.

Boudica Is In Search of New Emerging Trans+, Non-Binary, and Female Producers to Feature on New Various Artist Compilation

Boudica is looking for non-binary, trans+, and female producers to be a part of a new compilation featuring Jasmine Infiniti, Métaraph, and Animistic Beliefs. To participate to be potentially selected to feature on this Various Artist compilation, you must submit an electronic music-based unreleased track (pre-master -6DB) to [email protected] by June 29. The London-based label is also asking the artists participating for a short introduction about themselves. They have also asked for information about previous releases or experiences in music. “If you don’t have any it’s totally fine,” Boudica wrote on Instagram.


You must also submit a link to your social media. They have also mentioned that it doesn’t matter how many followers you have. The selected person will receive a £500 payment “towards the writing of their song,” the song will be featured on the above-mentioned Various Artist compilation, the song will be sold on vinyl as well as digital and they will receive a copy of the vinyl. The selected individual will also receive four one-hour online mentoring sessions by Métaraph, Animistic Beliefs, founder of Boudica – Samantha Togni, and Jasmine Infinit.

EXIT Festival Reveals Stunning Dance Arena Stage Line-up

EXIT Festival has unveiled its Dance Arena stage line-up! The festival set to take place from July 6 – 9 will welcome Berlin-based duo Mind Against, Indira Paganotto, German DJ/producer and composer Ben Böhmer, and Russian DJ/producer and singer Nina Kraviz. Vintage Culture, Belgian DJ/producer Amelie Lens, Swedish DJ/producer Eric Prydz, and Camelphat are also slated to take the Dance Arena stage at the EXIT Festival this July.


The festival will also host dance music superstars Skrillex, Carlita, Alesso, Claptone, and The Prodigy. Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Sofi Tukker, 8Kays, Hot Since 82, and LF System are among those that will be heading to Petrovaradin Fortress in Novi Sad, Serbia for EXIT next month.
