Acclaimed musician Porfi Baloa is amping up for the debut tour in Australia with salsa group Adolescent’s Orquesta. Collectively known as Porfi Baloa y sus Adolescentes, the orchestral group will stop by Brisbane and Melbourne on August 26 and 27, respectively. Founded in the mid-’90s by Venezuelan composer, producer, and arranger Porfi Baloa, his romantic salsa group Porfi Baloa y sus Adolescentes has rocketed to triumph with its energetic and expressive performances and music. They will bring their power-packed arrangements for the first time to Australia, kicking things off in Sydney on August 25. The group will then head to Brisbane’s The Warehouse in Fortitude Valley on August 26 and to Trak Lounge Bar in Toorak, Melbourne, on August 27, 2023.
Porfi Baloa y sus Adolescentes are currently on tour in the U.S., followed by their stint in the Dominican Republic in May 2023. With a career that spans over two decades, the outfit has time and again put on a spirited performance that brings Latin music to the crowd. ‘Anhelo,’ ‘Persona Ideal,’ ‘Arrepentida,’ and ‘Se Acabó el Amor,’ among others, are some of their most popular tracks to date.
The forthcoming tour of Porfi Baloa y sus Adolescentes in Australia is brought to you by event planning companies NQN Entertainment and Mangos Entertainment Group. The organizers also co-helmed salsa singer Maelo Ruiz in the country in March of this year.
