Zayn Teases New Music

New music from Zayn is officially on the way! The ‘Pillowtalk’ singer wiped out his Instagram before posting a clip of himself rocking a Celine black and red studded biker jacket while sitting on a motorbike. He wore a helmet that only revealed his eyes. Soon, he shared another snippet standing atop the rooftop of a building. He recently also posted a photo of himself in a studio, which means new music is coming sooner than we think.

Zayn has also signed a record deal with Mercury Records after releasing 3 albums on RCA Records. His debut single on Mercury Records is coming “very soon this summer.”  “As soon as ZAYN and I met, I knew we had to work together. I was blown away by the new music, but just as impressed by his vision, drive and spirit,” the President of Mercury Records said as per Billboard. “We’re honored he and his team have joined us at Mercury Records. We’ve got an incredible opportunity to tell the next chapter of his story together.”

The OneRepublic frontman, Ryan Tedder, also confirmed that he had been working with Zayn. “I guess the cat’s out of the bag,” Ryan said on Capital Breakfast with Roman Kemp, “but I’ve been working with Zayn a bunch for the past eight months as well.” Zayn’s last album ‘Nobody Is Listening’ was released in 2021.

Olivia Rodrigo Announces New Album ‘Guts’

The highly-anticipated follow-up album to Olivia Rodrigo’s debut ‘Sour’ arrives this September! Titled ‘Guts,’ the Grammy-winning artist’s sophomore album is set to release on September 8. “For me, this album is about growing pains and trying to figure out who I am at this point in my life,” Rodrigo said about Guts, according to Pitchfork. “I feel like I grew 10 years between the ages of 18 and 20—it was such an intense period of awkwardness and change. I think that’s all just a natural part of growth, and hopefully the album reflects that.”

The ‘drivers license’ singer also released the first single of her upcoming album today. “vampire song and video out now??. I made it with my very talented wonderful friend @dan_nigro last winter and created the video with the incredible @petrafcollins. writing this song helped me sort through lots of feelings of regret, anger, and heartache. it’s one of my favorite songs on the album and it felt very cathartic to finish. im so happy it’s in your hands now and I hope it helps u deal with any bloodsuckers in your life. all my thanks 4ever,” Olivia shared on Instagram.

Her debut album ‘SOUR’ was rolled out in 2021 featuring popular songs like ‘good 4 u,’ ‘deja vu,’ ‘traitor,’ and ‘drivers license.’ The album won a Best Pop Vocal Album Grammy award and the singer also took home the Best New Artist Grammy win along with a Best Pop Solo Performance trophy for ‘drivers license’ at the 2022 Grammy Awards.
