Arrows Plugs in Siddharth Basrur and Warren Mendonsa for New Single, ‘Fight This Fight’

Ahead of Arrows’ debut EP, the musician bites into a heavier tune with the promising new rock single ‘Fight This Fight,’ featuring indie stalwarts Warren Mendonsa aka Blackstratblues and Siddharth Barsur.

Arrows, the collaborative project of Mumbai-based musician and songwriter David Britto, unleashes their latest piece ‘Fight This Fight.’ The artist winched in frequent collaborator musician and producer Siddharth Barsur on vocals and guitar virtuoso Warren Mendonsa on the nearly three-minute single. The new release serves as a precursor for Britto’s upcoming five-track debut EP, ‘Friends Tonight, Strangers Again.’

‘Fight This Fight’ opens with nuanced strumming and steers into Basrur’s powerful vocals, pulling between neat folds of guitar and drum arrangements. The upbeat rock single features relatable lyrics and two energy-spiked guitar riffs, a signature of Mendonsa’s blues-rock tempo.

As per the artist, ‘Fight This Fight’ is “a track rooted in the collective journey of the world making it through some of the toughest times in history, ‘Fight This Fight’ is a reminder of the human spirit that never stops,” alluding to the pandemic crisis of 2019 and 2020.

Speaking about the release David Britto, aka Arrows, mentioned, “I am thrilled that my debut EP is finally taking off. I chose ‘Fight This Fight’ as the lead single because it is an in-your-face rock song with a motivational message. Also, the collaborations on this track include two of Indian indie music’s most well-known names Siddharth and Warren, I’m honored to have worked with them on this.”
