V of BTS And Artists Who Brand Ambassadors Of Cartier

Be it makeup, clothing, or shoes, artists often partner with different brands to branch out their interests outside of music. Some celebrities and artists are even appointed as ambassadors of designer or luxury brands in this process. Recently, V of BTS was announced as the latest ambassador for luxury brand, Cartier. He joins the likes of Chinese actress Gong Li, Elle Fanning, Deepika Padukone, Iranian-French actress Golshifteh Farahani, and Jake Gyllenhaal as the faces of Cartier’s campaigns or their brand ambassadors.

From Troye Sivan to Jisoo, we take a look at some artists who have been brand ambassadors of Cartier.

Kim Taehyung (V of BTS)

BTS’ V is the latest artist to be named the brand ambassador of Cartier. The ‘Sweet Night’ singer is now the face of the latest Panthère de Cartier campaign and sports a tête-à-tête panther bracelet, the Révélation d’une Panthère watch, and a sculptural diamond ring from the collection in its new campaign. “When it came to embodying the magnetism and aura of the panther, our choice naturally fell on V,” said D’Arnaud Carrez, Senior Vice President and Chief MKG Officer.

“He has the look and strength of character. A personality whose choices are guided by creativity as a dancer, musician or art lover, with this style and this elegance that belong only to him.” V, the stage name of Kim Taehyung, rocked the French luxury brand’s jewelry in a red pantsuit. He also graced the cover of Vogue Korea’s October 2022 issue wearing the magnificent necklace. The BTS member was also confirmed as the French luxury fashion house Celine’s brand ambassador earlier this year.

Troye Sivan

‘Angel Baby’ singer Troye Sivan says he “was so honored” to have been appointed as the brand ambassador of Cartier. “I love the Cartier brand and team, and to be amongst the cast of this campaign and the campaign’s past, is really such a privilege.” He was a part of the Pasha de Cartier campaign in 2020.

Cartier roped in twelve stars for ‘Love Is All,’ a film directed by British director Charlotte Wales that was filmed in Los Angeles, Shanghai, and Paris. The film featured the likes of Italian actress Monica Bellucci, Jackson Wang, Maisie Williams, Lily Collins, and Willow Smith, among others. ‘Love Is All’ also starred Troye Sivan.

Cartier’s chief marketing officer, Arnaud Carrez, said: “It’s a part of the Cartier philosophy to believe that we are stronger and more authentic together, and that’s why we have gathered this inspiring community of artists who embrace life with a sense of celebration. Together, they seem to defy gravity through Cartier’s red box, which they have filled with a sense of joy.”

Willow Smith

Willow, too, like Troye Sivan and GOT7’s Jackson Wang, featured in both Love Is All as well as Cartier’s Pasha de Cartier campaign. The campaign video saw celebrities ‘Game of Thrones’ actress Maisie Williams, Jackson Wang, singer and actress Willow Smith, Troye Sivan, and Rami Malek pose in a black and white video. There are also close-up videos of each person in the group with their comments playing in the background.

“You always have to bite off more than you can chew to evolve as a person and especially as an artist, and prove to yourself that you can do this and that you can expand,” said Willow Smith. The Pasha de Cartier watches were available in 35 mm and 41 mm in gold, diamond set, and steel.

Jackson Wang

Of the long list of brands Jackson Wang has worked with, Cartier is one of them! Not only did he wear it to the Met Gala, but he also became the face of the luxury brand’s Pasha de Cartier and Juste un Clou campaigns. The Hong Kong rapper and singer also featured in Cartier’s Love Is All film, which “celebrates universal and timeless love and aims to share it in a spirit of delight and generosity.”

He was also tapped to become the brand ambassador of Fendi, Ray-Ban, and Louis Vuitton. Jackson has rolled out the singles ‘Cheetah’ and ‘Slow (with Ciara)’ this year. His latest album ‘MAGIC MAN,’ a ten-track record, was released in September 2022. Wang has also been busy with his world tour this year, playing in cities including Los Angeles, Vancouver, New York, Brazil, Argentina, and more. He also took the Coachella 2023 stage this year.


Blackpink’s Jisoo was appointed as Cartier’s global ambassador last year. The ‘Pink Venom’ singer joined the Panthère community, which also features ‘Elvis’ star Austin Butler and Emma Chamberlain. “Intuitive, creative, and free-spirited, she has captivated an entire generation – who better than JISOO to embody the Cartier Panthère?” Cartier shared on Instagram.

“While envisioning the mood of Panthère, I instinctively thought of Jisoo. She is full of confidence and talent and is not afraid to show her capabilities to the world, and she acts as the voice of the new generation. She is an artist who takes on her role with great creative freedom, never limiting herself,” Arnaud Carrez said in a statement.

Alongside Jisoo, BLACKPINK members Lisa has partnered with Celine and Bulgari, Rosé with Tiffany & Co., and Jennie’s with Calvin Klein and Chanel. Jisoo has also been the global ambassador of the French luxury fashion house Dior since 2021.
