Boutique music booking agency Banished Music will bring New York-based groove-pop duo Balu Brigada to their homeland, New Zealand, for a three-stop tour this August! Titled ‘Bop Fiasco: Volume 2,’ this tour kicks off in Christchurch and goes on to Auckland and Wellington right after. Tickets for Balu Brigada’s headlining tour in New Zealand are available at The Ticket Fairy.
Balu Brigada, a duo consisting of brothers Pierre and Henry Beasley, are set to make their return to New Zealand for a headline tour for the first time since 2018. The pair will take over the Space Academy in Christchurch on August 24, 2023. They will then head to Auckland on August 25 for a concert at The Hollywood Avondale before the final gig of the tour in Wellington on August 26. Lilly Carron has been announced as a special guest for this tour, with more special acts yet to be announced!

Balu Brigada have been performing since they were 18. They released an EP ‘I Should Be Home’ after being signed to Atlantic Records last year. Their latest musical offering is ‘Find A Way,’ a six-track EP that was released last month.
“1 thing we are really excited about is finding our way ? to the motherland, for what we like to call a ‘Bop Fiasco’. These are going to be our most legitimate sets yet, there’s synths and vocoders involved (an ear candy spectacle) and lots of other surprises. Make sure you come along, it’s been a big year since we were last home and we truly can’t wait to see you all!” they shared on Instagram while announcing this tour.
The duo made their US debut this year and were also on support duties for Arden Jones and Quarters of Change. Balu Brigada will be heading to Australia this month for concerts in Sydney and Melbourne.
