Ariana Grande and Other Artists That Have Launched Perfumes

Artists are constantly expanding their interests. Some pursue their passions, like acting or voice acting, while others work with fashion designers on collections or clothing lines. Many popular singers have also launched their own cosmetics, and as an extension, pop stars like Billie Eilish, One Direction, and Taylor Swift have all released their own perfumes. With Ariana Grande launching her latest fragrance ‘Cloud Pink’ today, we have scoured the net to list a few other musicians who have their own perfumes.

From Beyoncé to Dolly Parton, below is a list of artists who have launched fragrances.

Ariana Grande

Ariana Grande has been rolling out fragrances long before she could launch her makeup line R.E.M. beauty. Now, her newest perfume ‘Cloud Pink’ is available at Ulta Beauty! The singer shared a photo of the pink and white cloud shaped bottle with her name “ARIANA GRANDE” engraved on it on her Instagram story. The first Cloud Eau de Parfum (a blue perfume bottle) described as “warm and spicy” was released in 2018. Then came a sweet-scented deep blue bottle called ‘Cloud 2.0 Intense Eau de Parfum’ in 2021.

Other fragrances Grande has launched so far include Moonlight (which she dropped in 2017), Ari Eau de Parfum (2015), R.E.M. (2020), Sweet Like Candy (2016), God Is A Woman (2021), and Thank U Next (2019). The ‘7 Rings’ singer’s latest additions to her perfume collection – MOD Vanilla Eau de Parfum and MOD Blush Eau de Parfum released in 2022.

Rihanna

Rihanna’s first luxury fragrance Fenty Eau de Parfum was launched in 2021. This gender-neutral perfume has a warm floral scent featuring Bulgarian rose, musk, magnolia and tangerine. It comes in a brown, transparent bottle. “Fragrance is so personal – it represents something different and smells unique for each person. I’m excited to bring the Fenty Eau de Parfum experience in-store so that people can discover it in a new way,” said RiRi in a statement.

Christina Aguilera

An amber floral fragrance was launched by Xtina in 2013 as part of her perfume collection. Called ‘Unforgettable,’ its top notes include pomegranate and plum. The ‘Genie in a Bottle’ singer also rolled out another perfume called Definition in 2017. It featured Italian Mandarin, Sicilian Bergamot, and red apple.

Beyoncé

After launching the perfume lines Heat, Pulse and the latest Rise in 2013, Queen Bey is all set to release a new fragrance. The ‘Cuff It’ singer’s new eau de parfum will begin shipping this November. Its title and release date are yet to be announced, but what we know is that it is exclusively available for those in Canada and the US.

Created in France, the USD 160 perfume includes golden honey and clementine and comes with a special gift. The first perfume line that Beyoncé rolled out was Heat in 2010, which saw seven spin-off fragrances, followed by Pulse in 2011.

Katy Perry

Katy Perry is among the artists who have released many perfumes during their careers. After launching Purr in 2010 and Meow, a floral fruity fragrance in 2011, Katy announced Killer Queen in 2013. This fragrance comes in a jewel-shaped bottle, and its top notes are wild berries and plum. Her 2015 fragrance Mad Potion’s scent includes jasmine, vanilla, oriental, and musk.

Perry’s Mad Love fragrance, which was announced in 2016, is a floral, fruity, and enchanting perfume featuring apple, pink grapefruit, sorbet, and strawberry. “You know, INDI represents the individual, which is great, it’s great to be an individual. It’s great to come from a variety of different backgrounds, and cultures, and come together to celebrate – that’s why the moto is ‘different together’,” she told Glamour Magazine about her INDI perfume, which was rolled out in 2017.

Billie Eilish

In 2021, Billie Eilish joined the likes of Ariana Grande, Katy Perry, and other pop stars in launching her own fragrance line. Her amber gourmand fragrance is called Billie Eau de Parfum and has clean ingredients. Its top notes are mandarin, warm berries, and sugared petals, which come in a brown-gold body-shaped bottle.

“My original idea was that I wanted whatever my second fragrance was to smell and feel like damp, rained-on concrete, like a sidewalk after the rain, and how that has such a specific smell—it just reminds me of my childhood. It kind of turned into this rain world, but also this more woodsy world,” Eilish shared about her second perfume, Eilish 2, a follow-up to her fragrance Eilish, released last year.

Dolly Parton

Dolly’s first fragrance Dolly: Scent From Above came out in 2021, with black currant, peony, mandarin orange, and pear are the top notes of this amber floral fragrance. Last year, the ‘Jolene’ singer launched a new woody, floral fragrance called Dolly: Smoky Mountain. This perfume consists of warm tonka, cashmere woods, and tiger orchids.

Taylor Swift

“I think that fragrance has a lot to do with shaping people’s memories in the way that music does. …If you hear a song for the first time when you are in love with someone and then you break up and you hear the song again a couple years later, it’s gonna make you think right back to that moment when you first heard the song,” said Taylor Swift. She launched Wonderstruck, a perfume named after a lyric from her song ‘Enchanted’ off her album ‘Speak Now.’

“I wanted it to be a fragrance that I honestly wanted to wear every day,” she said of the floral fruity fragrance. “That’s kind of the rule of thumb: Is it good enough? … Would I want to wear it all the time and give it as presents to my friends? And that ended up happening.” Wonderstruck’s top notes are apple blossom, blackberry, freesia, raspberry, and tea.
