Headlined by acts Kamiyada+, Phi11a, and Vile, the show gets on the road on September 15 in Auckland, later heading to Wellington, Dunedin and more. Grab your tickets from [The Ticket Fairy](https://www.ticketfairy.com/event/the-skip-the-boat-experience-auckland-15sep2023/). After detonating a slew of hard-hitting shows in [2022](https://skiptheboat.com/pages/events), Skip The Boat is set to take you on a pilgrimage of chaos torched by industrial hip-hop, rap, rock, punk, trap metal music, and more. With assistance from the brand’s newest technology – Artificial Understanding and Response Algorithm aka [AURA](https://www.instagram.com/reel/Cv37alitsd0/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==), the promoters are set to produce five epic shows at Whammy Bar in [Auckland](https://www.ticketfairy.com/events-in-auckland) (September 15), LAST PLACE BAR in [Hamilton](https://www.ticketfairy.com/events-in-hamilton) (September 16), Valhalla in [Wellington](https://www.ticketfairy.com/events-in-wellington) (September 20), Darkroom in [Christchurch](https://www.ticketfairy.com/events-in-christchurch) (September 22), and Yours in [Dunedin](https://www.ticketfairy.com/events-in-dunedin) (September 23). Alternative rapper Kamiyada+ will be seen beside Aussie artist Phi11a and [‘IMISSTHISSHIT’](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W_RZtZPnOW4) famed Vile on the forthcoming tour. [VOLUME 5 : OFFICIAL AFTERMOVIE](https://www.youtube.com/embed/N7CcVFxXJR0?feature=oembed) Auckland’s Whammy Bar will host the first show of the tour, which will see the headliners accompanied by Durban-born and Auckland-bred musician Jason Leigh and freestyle rapper Eliezer. Jason Leigh was also on the [line-up ](https://www.instagram.com/p/CtgAs91SriI/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==)when Skip The Boat visited Auckland in July this year and programmed Matt Ox and Christ Dillinger. The rest of the Skip The Boat experience will see acts like King Bushido, Chasemayne, Chronic Shnxman, Will Onvx, $cXrti, Ka$$iu$, and Ily.Ka$per barrage stages, with more artists yet to be revealed. Jason Leigh weighed in on the promoters and his upcoming set with us, saying, “Skip the Boat is amazing and has such an awesome drive and dream for the NZ music scene that he doesn’t get enough credit for, I’m excited to play this gig, and I get to perform with such amazing artists, I have two songs with Kamiyada out that will be amazing to show live, I want people to know that I will be showcasing a completely different vibe than what I’ve previously released and am excited for people to hear.” The tour was [announced ](https://www.instagram.com/p/Cv9FMFTyQG_/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==)in mid-August, with early bird tickets selling out within two days of the announcement, which lends credence to Skip The Boats [asserting ](https://skiptheboat.com/pages/about-1)that they have “merely scratched the surface of what they aspire to achieve.” Skip The Boat was founded in January 2020 to spotlight the underground music scene by curating events and merchandise. The term ‘Boat’ refers to mainstream music, art, and fashion that fully eclips local talent, hence Skip The Boat. **Tickets to Skip The Boat Experience Tour are available from The Ticket Fairy: [Auckland](https://www.ticketfairy.com/event/the-skip-the-boat-experience-auckland-15sep2023)| [Hamilton](https://www.ticketfairy.com/event/the-skip-the-boat-experience-hamilton)| [Wellington](https://www.ticketfairy.com/event/the-skip-the-boat-experience-wellington)| [Christchurch](https://www.ticketfairy.com/event/the-skip-the-boat-experience-christchurch)| [Dunedin](https://www.ticketfairy.com/event/the-skip-the-boat-experience-dunedin)** **Artists performing on the tour: [Jason Leigh](https://open.spotify.com/artist/7jeisf3gQvBjwFxgBM3YmN) | [Vile](https://open.spotify.com/artist/6RvlNq9mTZ6IBItd1t51V1) | [King Bushido](https://open.spotify.com/artist/3B5srdGFXy3sqUhY61mq3K?si=ghVJ0jBBQ6S9wbBzZNc-7w&nd=1) | [Chasemayne](https://open.spotify.com/artist/7diSOzaATGuN5Knzh7AA2x)| [Chronic Shnxman](https://open.spotify.com/artist/6sihlFOxBuZ8NsT0suXocj?si=KVzODHSyTGqFspvlpOthQg&nd=1) | [KA$$IU$](https://open.spotify.com/artist/0xli3BEXUnYn1AclkDVajx) | [$cXrti](https://open.spotify.com/artist/0RZLLVrPUjpjpJHoEsflcB?si=BIIE6imCQ1y9Zz-a37Y7fA&nd=1) | [Ily.Ka$per](https://open.spotify.com/artist/7nPbjJ8fEAU2J8JvBYJCWY)** **Stay updated with Skip the Boat events on: [Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/skiptheboat/)| [Facebook](https://www.instagram.com/skiptheboat/)** **| [Website](https://skiptheboat.com/)** **You May Also Like:** [**Sweet Mix Kids to Take Off ‘Stargazing’ Tour in New Zealand This September**](https://www.ticketfairy.com/word/2023/08/17/sweet-mix-kids-to-take-off-stargazing-tour-in-new-zealand-this-september) [**Ronmak and Remorse to Embark on a Multi-City Tour of New Zealand This September**](https://www.ticketfairy.com/word/2023/08/16/ronmak-and-remorse-to-embark-on-a-multi-city-tour-of-new-zealand-this-september) [**Catch The Veils’ Finn Andrews in Auckland For Two Shows**](https://www.ticketfairy.com/word/2023/08/15/catch-the-veils-finn-andrews-in-auckland-for-two-shows) Go ## The events in this story - [Fri 15 Sep 2023 · past The SKIP THE BOAT Experience - Auckland Whammy Bar, Auckland See the event](https://www.ticketfairy.com/event/the-skip-the-boat-experience-auckland-15sep2023) - [Sat 16 Sep 2023 · past The SKIP THE BOAT Experience - Hamilton LAST PLACE BAR, Hamilton See the event](https://www.ticketfairy.com/event/the-skip-the-boat-experience-hamilton) - [Wed 20 Sep 2023 · past The SKIP THE BOAT Experience - Wellington Valhalla, Wellington See the event](https://www.ticketfairy.com/event/the-skip-the-boat-experience-wellington) - [Fri 22 Sep 2023 · past The SKIP THE BOAT Experience - Christchurch Darkroom, Christchurch See the event](https://www.ticketfairy.com/event/the-skip-the-boat-experience-christchurch) Share [X](https://twitter.com/intent/tweet?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketfairy.com%2Fword%2F2023%2F08%2F28%2Fkamiyada-phi11a-and-vile-to-headline-skip-the-boats-multi-city-new-zealand-tour-this-september.md&text=Kamiyada%2B%2C+Phi11a%2C+and+Vile+to+Headline+Skip+The+Boat%E2%80%99s+Multi-City+New+Zealand+Tour+This+September) [Facebook](https://www.facebook.com/sharer/sharer.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketfairy.com%2Fword%2F2023%2F08%2F28%2Fkamiyada-phi11a-and-vile-to-headline-skip-the-boats-multi-city-new-zealand-tour-this-september.md) [WhatsApp](https://api.whatsapp.com/send?text=Kamiyada%2B%2C+Phi11a%2C+and+Vile+to+Headline+Skip+The+Boat%E2%80%99s+Multi-City+New+Zealand+Tour+This+September+https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketfairy.com%2Fword%2F2023%2F08%2F28%2Fkamiyada-phi11a-and-vile-to-headline-skip-the-boats-multi-city-new-zealand-tour-this-september.md) ## Denver C Tracking stories in music with a focus on festivals, events, gigs, and sustainability.
