This September, the Subtropics Festival returns to Base Backpackers Magnetic Island in Queensland, Australia! The 2023 edition of the drum & bass, UKG, dub, hip hop, reggae, and dubstep festival will be held from September 22 – 24. Mampi Swift, Conrad Subs, Skool of Thought, Sola and a plethora of other local and international artists are slated to perform at the festival. Some of the finest talents are gearing up to perform at the Subtropics Festival 2023 across three stages. Drum & bass heavyweight Mampi Swift, producer Skool of Thought, Australian award-winning DJ/producer Kid Kenobi, DnB trio Sola, Sydney-based DJ/producer Royalston, and drum & bass jungle DJ/producer from the UK Conrad Subs are set to grace this festival’s stage this year, along with Dose, Brisbane-based drum & bass producer Sal, Soul:Motion, DnB, hybrid trap, dubstep, and bass house DJ Ubermoon, DJ Lickweed, and grime DJ, MC, producer Mobstar.
DJ Journeyman, Mauritius–born drum & bass jungle DJ/producer Thierry D, DnB DJ Atlas, Imprv, DJ Nate Swan, and Glasgow-based DJ/producer Static Structures, are also on the bill and will dish out tunes that’ll keep you dancing all day! Expect dancefloor-rattling sets from DJ/producer Filthy Philp, Inguerzon, DJ and event planner Eve, Ten Tun, DJ Delaboss, DJ/MC Metalman, drum & bass DJ Kate Savage, Websta MC, JLP, MC Harlequin, MC Dare, D-Tech, and Jviggy.
Your three days at Subtropic will include a bar stage, big BBQ cookouts, a yoga chill out zone, music workshop giveaways, pool parties, live art demonstrations, watersports, boat parties, dancing, live performances, and a closing night after party. Cabins, camping packages, and accommodation on-site will be available.
