The Mission, Chameleons, and Theatre of Hate to Head to Los Angeles

US-based event curators Restless Nites have roped in British post-punk legends The Mission, English rock band Chameleons, and British post-punk outfit Theatre of Hate for a spectacular rock showdown in LA! Slated for September 23, the trio’s performance at The Belasco in Los Angeles comes as part of their ongoing Deva Vu Tour 2023. The Mission is finally headed back to the States, ready to give fans and attendees a show worth remembering. The stage will be taken by Wayne Hassey, who helped shape the goth and post-punk scene, from playing with The Sisters of Mercy to forming The Mission in 1986 along with Craig Adams and Simon Hinkler. Together, these three have put on awe-inspiring live performances all around the world and won countless awards.

Joining The Mission on their tour are Chameleons, consisting of Mark Burgess and Reg Smithies, who will be reuniting after several years to put on a breathtaking performance at The Belasco. Chameleons were one of the finest bands in the British post-punk era, leaving a beautiful legacy, inspiring various artists, and reaching the dark hearts of fans all around the world.

After completing successful tours in the previous years, Theatre of Hate will be making their way across North America and sharing the stage with The Mission and Chameleons on September 23 at The Belasco. Led by singer/songwriter Kirk Brandon, Theatre of Hate released their legendary debut studio album all the way back in 1982, which was produced by Mick Jones from The Clash and entered the top 20 charts in the UK.

The North American leg of their Deja Vu 2023 Tour will have The Missions, Chameleons, and Theatre of Hate perform in Baltimore, Atlanta, Tampa, Houston, San Diego, San Francisco, Portland, Seattle, Denver, Toronto, Chicago and more.

The Belasco is located only a few blocks away from the Los Angeles Convention Center and is an incredible, spacious location for private concerts, weddings, and cooperative events, being able to host up to 1,500 people. The venue offers three different bars consisting of your favorite spirits, an in-house cafe, a Mexican restaurant – Grill Fresco, and a multistory stadium-style balcony overlooking the main stage.
