Skeler to Head to Berlin for His Light Fades Tour

Australian wave/hardware producer Skeler takes his ‘Light Fades’ tour to the open-air Æden club in Berlin, Germany, on November 2 along with supporting act Brothel. Grab your tickets to the show from The Ticket Fairy.

Skeler jets his way to Berlin as part of his Light Fades tour, which commenced all the way back in September, encompassing stops in America and Europe. The artist expressed in a post on social media that he was “excited to be heading back to Europe” for this tour that will conclude in mid-December. Skeler will perform a couple of shows in Germany, one in Berlin and one in Cologne.

Skeler will be winged by the charismatic and hauntingly ravishing sounds of Brothel at Æden. The DJ also embarked on a monumental America tour earlier this year, along with Barnacle Boi in April and May. Brothel slips in with Skeler for a streak of concerts in Prague, Krakow, and Warsaw, before heading to Berlin.

Perth native Skeler has been one of the pioneering artists of Australia’s wave scene. In his career, he has released multiple albums thus far, with his tracks ‘1992,’ ‘Ava‘ and ‘Tel Aviv‘ earning plaudits the world over. In an interview with Future Magazine, Skeler discussed how has been driving the wave music scene to new avenues, saying, “I have been pushing the genre to become more ‘club friendly’. I feel that this will really open up the genre to a wider audience and will allow us artists to play out at clubs/festivals more often. I have been bringing elements of my other favorite genres into the Wave scene. Hardstyle melodies and trance arps I feel work really well with Wave, and I have been pushing this idea for some time now.”
