Souled Out – Australia’s premier R&B festival devoted to accentuating modern R&B, launches its nationwide tour this March, with dates in Sydney, Gold Coast, Melbourne, and Perth. Stemming from the nearly 5000-capacity The Trusts Arena in Auckland, the showcase kicks off from 1 PM onwards. Added to this already eclectic list of artists are DJ SIR-VERE, DJ/turntablist DJ Dazzle, R&B singer Evile Laloata, and vocalist Evander. Christchurch-based singer and performer Evile Laloata, who opens the festival, spoke to us about performing at the show, stating, “I will be performing my single I released mid-last year for the very first time[‘Nights Like This’](https://open.spotify.com/track/0b8jN1kHioq46n5wTwsWBO), I am so blessed and so over the moon that I get this opportunity to perform at this years Souled out festival.” Evile also took the time to talk about the set and surrounding cast of musicians. He said, “I have had to change my set list for Souled Out festival quite a few times but we finally got there. I have a set time of 15 minutes and so of course it’s gonna be 15 minutes of straight soul and RnB. I will be sharing the stage with my three beautiful friends and game over backup vocalists Celestial Utai, LAIA Utai, and Jireh Komene.” Trap/soul cornerstone Bryson Tiller makes his way to the land down under as part of his tour of the United Kingdom, Australia, and Europe, which races through March until May 2024. The American singer/rapper recently released ‘Whatever She Wants,’ a trap/soul/hip-hop beat that has amassed nearly thirty thousand streams on Spotify.
