Along with their music, bar italia has earned a reputation for keeping their social media activity limited, with words such as “elusive,” “mysterious,” and “low-key” floating around the internet. Nina Cristante and Sam Fenton addressed this in an interview with Dutch media outlet [Numero Netherlands](https://www.numeromag.nl/in-conversation-with-bar-italia/), saying, “We didn’t aim for mystery; at the beginning, we simply didn’t have much to discuss. We didn’t intend to avoid any topics. It just happened that people noticed our silence, and that’s when we realized we should start talking. We didn’t want to make a statement through anonymity.” [Bar Italia "Polly Armour" (Live Acoustic)](https://www.youtube.com/embed/6Dq8XLB3Xto?feature=oembed) *bar italia perform ance ‘Polly Armour’ on Office Hours.* In the same [interview](https://www.numeromag.nl/in-conversation-with-bar-italia/), Sam remarked, “The whole mystique around us has become a bit of a gimmick, and we acknowledge our role in that. We’re hoping that by doing interviews, we’ll appear less mysterious now!” **[Tickets to bar italia at Neck of the Woods, Auckland](https://www.ticketfairy.com/event/bar-italia-nz) are available on The Ticket Fairy** **Find bar italia on: [Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/baritaliaa/?hl=en)| [Spotify](https://open.spotify.com/artist/6tYmTHApvspl6KAgTfHjAY?autoplay=true)| [Bandcamp](https://baritalia.bandcamp.com/)| [Apple Music](https://music.apple.com/in/artist/bar-italia/1530119740)** **You May Also Like:** [Lee Mvtthews to Kick Off Their Exit Album Tour in Wellington](https://www.ticketfairy.com/word/2024/04/02/lee-mvtthews-to-kick-off-their-exit-album-tour-in-wellington) [Mungo’s Hi Fi To Stop by Auckland and Queenstown for 2024 New Zealand Tour](https://www.ticketfairy.com/word/2024/04/03/mungos-hi-fi-to-stop-by-auckland-and-queenstown-for-2024-new-zealand-tour) [Catch DJ Example At An Exclusive Show In Auckland On April 13](https://www.ticketfairy.com/word/2024/03/27/catch-dj-example-at-an-exclusive-show-in-auckland-on-april-13) Go ## The event in this story - [Sun 2 Jun 2024 · past Bar Italia (UK) | Neck of the Woods Neck Of The Woods, Auckland See the event](https://www.ticketfairy.com/event/bar-italia-nz) [Everything on in Auckland](https://www.ticketfairy.com/events-in-auckland) Share [X](https://twitter.com/intent/tweet?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketfairy.com%2Fword%2F2024%2F04%2F11%2Fbar-italia-announces-exclusive-show-in-auckland-new-zealand.md&text=bar+italia+Announces+Exclusive+Show+In+Auckland%2C+New+Zealand) [Facebook](https://www.facebook.com/sharer/sharer.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketfairy.com%2Fword%2F2024%2F04%2F11%2Fbar-italia-announces-exclusive-show-in-auckland-new-zealand.md) [WhatsApp](https://api.whatsapp.com/send?text=bar+italia+Announces+Exclusive+Show+In+Auckland%2C+New+Zealand+https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketfairy.com%2Fword%2F2024%2F04%2F11%2Fbar-italia-announces-exclusive-show-in-auckland-new-zealand.md) ## Denver C Tracking stories in music with a focus on festivals, events, gigs, and sustainability.
