The label’s first release is a high-energy collaboration between Nia Archives and Bristol-based DJ/producer **Cheetah**, titled **‘Get Loose**.’ The connection between Nia Archives and Cheetah began when she discovered his track **‘Spin Sugar’** on Bandcamp and included it in her debut **BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix**. Their creative partnership grew from there, with Cheetah joining her in the studio to work on edits for her upcoming tour. Cheetah described the track’s inspiration, saying, “It’s essentially an ode to soundsystem and party culture—that feeling of being completely locked in with the music, head buried in the rig, bass rattling your ribs. It’s simple but super energetic, and the lyrics are literally an instruction. We took huge inspiration from soca, letting those high-energy vocals drive the track.” To further celebrate the label’s launch, Nia Archives is teaming up with **NTS** for a new monthly radio residency, **Up Ya Archives Radio**, which premiered on April 25. The first episode featured Nia and Cheetah in the studio together, introducing the label’s vision, spotlighting the community around it, teasing upcoming releases, and delivering a high-energy back-to-back DJ set. The Up Ya Archives name is a nod to Nia’s own party series, which has been a staple in the UK rave scene since 2021. Known for its inclusive, high-vibe gatherings, the brand is set to make its festival debut this year with a stage takeover at **All Points East** in London during the **Chase & Status**-headlined day, bringing the label’s explosive energy to an even wider audience. With Up Ya Archives, Nia Archives continues to solidify her role as a leading force in jungle’s revival, bridging the gap between the genre’s roots and its future.
