Klingande and KOATES Whip Out New Tropical House Single, ‘Nightlife’

French DJ/producer Klingande returns to Ultra Records, accompanied by London-based singer and songwriter KOATES, for a bouncy new track, ‘Nightlife.’
House music great Cédric Steinmyller, best known as Klingande (plucked from Swedish for “sounding” or “chiming”), leaps back onto Ultra Records, on which he released his multi-platinum award-winning track ‘Jubel’ and his debut 18-track album titled ‘The Album’ in 2019.
Racking up yet another collaborative effort this year, after working with Maltese-born and London-based artist Shaun Farrugia on ‘Feelings For You,’ Klingande draws in ‘Another Life’ fame James Coates, aka KOATES, to conjure a feel-good tropical house, dance-pop number.
Constructed over a string section reminiscent of Flo Rida’s ‘Good Feeling,’ Klingande delivers a melodic outpouring of danceable electronic beats matched with drifting vocals from KOATES. Pulsing bass ripples, rhythmic guitar patterns, bright sonic relays, and a smudge of upbeat keyboards all swing in to give this track a glitzy, future-house garishness.
‘Nightlife’ has gained a ruthless amount of traction and performed extremely well since its release, even earning support from names like Brazilian electronic artist ALOK, Dutch-Moroccan DJ/record producer R3HAB, and Dutch DJ Sam Feldt. Its lyric video on Ultra Record’s YouTube channel has amassed over 50K views, and the streaming platform Spotify has clocked nearly 400K streams thus far.
Noticing the positive response and favorable reactions, Klingande branded this single as having “the potential to soundtrack your summertime nightlife” on social media.
‘Nightlife’ is currently streaming on all major platforms.
