The fourteen-track album ‘Don’t Slow Down’ solidifies Grafix’s stature as a central figure in the next generation of drum & bass.
Building on the success of his acclaimed debut solo album ‘Half Life’ released in 2022, one of the most respected and forward-thinking producers in drum & bass, Grafix has finally unveiled his long-anticipated second solo album, ‘Don’t Slow Down.’ Combining refined production, emotive songwriting, and unrelenting dancefloor energy, the album is a defining and dynamic body of work that encapsulates the evolution of a producer truly at the top of his game.
The culmination of a seven-month-long journey until its release kicked off with ‘We’re On Fire,’ featuring Madishu, an explosive track that reignited excitement across streaming platforms with over three million streams. What followed was ‘Vital Signs’ featuring Nu-La, a euphoric roller that revealed Grafix’s melodic finesse and depth. The track premiered on BBC Radio 1 and quickly resonated with audiences, climbing to 1.5 million streams and connecting deeply with both long-time fans and new listeners alike.
The campaign’s energy peaked with the release of ‘Don’t Slow Down,’ the album’s title track. The fourth single, ‘Let Me Down’ featuring ROVA, became an instant DJ and radio favorite, earning more than ten spins on BBC Radio 1, being named ‘Drop Of The Week’ by Charlie Tee, added to the George FM playlist, and surging to #1 on Beatport’s Drum & Bass Top 100. Additional support from Charlie Hedges on her Track2Track show further highlighted the single’s impact.
Rounding out the campaign before the album’s release, ‘Memories (Us Together)’ featuring Raphaella introduced a deep, emotional resonance, layering lush vocals with cinematic textures. Finally, just before the release day, Grafix unveiled ‘Drift Away’ featuring WHAT EVA, a shimmering and soulful cut that bridges introspection and euphoria.
