It also includes “backend integration so that sustainability requirements become a seamless part of the booking workflow,” according to [Billboard](https://www.billboard.com/pro/blondish-foundation-sustainable-tour-rider-gigwell/). (@gigwellofficial)](https://www.instagram.com/reel/DQEfs4TDEcK/?utm_source=ig_embed&utm_campaign=loading) Eco Rider was launched in 2019 and since then, more than 1500 artists including house music virtuoso Öona Dahl, Apache, Iranian-American house and techno visionary Dubfire, Madame Gandhi, melodic house maven [Yulia Niko](https://www.ticketfairy.com/word/2025/09/26/yulia-niko-bridges-legacy-and-innovation-with-her-latest-compilation-on-get-physical), Brazilian techno great ANNA, Swiss-French progressive house heavyweight Deer Jade and boundary-pushing English DJ/producer Eats Everything adopting it to do their bit to put an end to single-use plastics in the music industry. BLOND:ISH started the Bye Bye Plastic Foundation with Camille Guitteau in 2018, taking the lead to get rid of single-use plastic, provide solutions to the problem of plastic waste and eco-friendly alternatives. The vinyl for her album ‘Never Walk Alone’ was made using biogenic waste, including used cooking oil, with this process of crafting decreasing carbon dioxide emissions by 90%. The full-length album’s vinyls were pressed by BioVinyl – a pressing plant that manufactures vinyls using bio-based PVC. “When I started using the eco rider, 100 percent of my events were using plastic. Now I’m down to 20 percent.
