We’re really proud of this record,” expressed one half of Indo Warehouse, [Kunal Merchant](https://www.ticketfairy.com/word/2025/11/06/kunal-merchant-and-raja-kumari-unite-for-bombay-acid), via a press note. ‘Patasa’ unleashes a weighty mix of folk rhythms laced with melodic house and techno flavors. As for the beat, you’ll hear booming bass lines, melodic flows, dhol smacks matched with tribal percussions, and a driving momentum that keeps the energy high. Singer and music composer Sarthak Kalyani steers the track with his commanding vocals, bellowing the Punjabi folk expression “baari barsi khatan gaya si… khat ke leynadi… patasa.” This cheery saying, or boliyan, is traditionally sung during the festivities of a Punjabi wedding.
