Grammy-winning electronic band Rüfüs du Sol have been on the road for their Inhale/Exhale World Tour, selling more than 750,000 tickets, according to Billboard, as per a press release from Live Nation. They’ve toured across North and South America, Mexico, New Zealand, and their home country, Australia, in support of their fifth studio album, ‘Inhale / Exhale,’ released in October 2024.
At their concerts and festival appearances, they’ve performed before a whopping 1.5 million music aficionados. The trip saw sold-out shows across Melbourne, Auckland, Perth, Sydney, Adelaide, and Brisbane, selling over 180,000 tickets in their homeland. They also played to a crowd of 90,000 concert-goers at California’s Rose Bowl, becoming the first electronic music artist to headline at the stadium located in Pasadena.
Rüfüs Du Sol’s latest record, ‘Inhale / Exhale,’ received a Best Dance/Electronic Album Grammy nod this year, up for a win against ‘EUSEXUA’ by FKA Twigs, Skrillex’s ‘F— U SKRILLEX YOU THINK UR ANDY WARHOL BUT UR NOT!! <3,’ ‘Ten Days’ from Fred again.., and ‘Fancy That’ by PinkPantheress.
Made up of Jon George, James Hunt, and Tyrone Lindqvist, the three-piece electronic music band are booked and busy next year too! They have shows lined up in Argentina, Chile, and Brazil in February, whereas March and April will see them perform in Colombia, Germany, Spain, Italy, and Switzerland. The renowned EDM act are scheduled to take venues across Belgium, the Netherlands, France, the UK and Ireland in May.
