Catch Diplo Live in Tulum on January 3

Papaya Playa Project is set to host Diplo to open the first Saturday of 2026! The celebrated electronic dance music group Major Lazer member will be headlining The Joy Era at Tulum’s finest beach club, Papaya Playa Project, on January 3. He will be joined by Maxi Meraki, Salomé Le Chat, All Matter, and Maria Nocheydia. Let this gig set the stage for a great live music calendar for you next year. From Hollertronix to joining forces with brilliant artists to form supergroups such as Major Lazer, LSD with Labrinth and Sia, Jack Ü with Skrillex, and Silk City with Mark Ronson, Diplo’s distinguished career is one for the books. He has produced several hits like ‘Light It Up,’ ‘Cold Water,’ ‘Genius,’ ‘Thunderclouds,’ ‘Electricity’ and ‘Where Are U Now.’ Apart from having billions of streams across music platforms, the Mississippi-born and Florida-raised DJ/producer is a three-time Grammy Award winner and has received thirteen nominations. Having taken his famed tunes all over the world, witness the magic of Diplo‘s music live at Papaya Playa Project on January 3.

Belgium’s melodic house mammoth Maxi Meraki will also return to Tulum next month to push buttons at The Joy Era party. He has been booked and busy this year with gigs in Los Angeles, New York City, Beirut, Miami, Berlin, Milan, Brazil, South Africa, and more. His thrilling sets worldwide are a testament to his incredible talent behind the decks.

Salomé Le Chat is also on the artist card, bringing the heat to the Papaya Playa Project dancefloor for this gig. The Parisian producer/DJ and music curator’s explosive set will make you move until your feet hurt. All Matter is due for a B2B set with Maria Nocheydia.
