Speaking on the local scene and the chance to perform, the DJ and producer expressed, “SD Union has done a lot for the San Diego DnB scene over the years, and I am honored to be playing under their banner. Liquid is one of my favorite styles of DnB, and Danny Byrd is one of my favorite producers, so I’m stoked to be able to contribute and share space with one of the greats!” When asked about the set’s direction, Lyjia conveyed, “I plan on starting things off with some smooth and silky Liquid DnB. I have a couple of originals I am working on that I dancefloor-tested just last night, so I look forward to working them into my set.” “Finally, I would like to give a shout-out to my friends and the collectives that have supported me over the years: SanDNB, Vybe Trybe, Triptych, FireTribe, and now SD Union! It’s a competitive scene here, so I am grateful for every opportunity to play out that comes my way,” the artist concluded. **[Tickets to SD Union with Danny Byrd, Bensley and Alpha Rhythm at Spin Nightclub](https://www.ticketfairy.com/event/sd-union-jan-2026), San Diego, California, are up for grabs on Ticket Fairy** **Find more [events in San Diego](https://www.ticketfairy.com/events-in-san-diego)** **You May Also Like:** [Frequency Forest 2026 Ropes in Ace Ventura, OMIKI, and More](https://www.ticketfairy.com/word/2026/01/06/frequency-forest-2026-ropes-in-ace-ventura-omiki-and-more) [Artists To Watch at DnB Allstars: Thailand](https://www.ticketfairy.com/word/2026/01/12/artists-to-watch-at-dnb-allstars-thailand) [Bass Music Stalwarts Ivy Lab Announce Their Split at the End of 2026](https://www.ticketfairy.com/word/2026/01/07/bass-music-stalwarts-ivy-lab-announce-their-split-at-the-end-of-2026) Go ## The events in this story - [Fri 23 Jan 2026 · past SD Union w/ Danny Byrd + Bensley + Alpha Rhythm Spin Nightclub, San Diego See the event](https://www.ticketfairy.com/event/sd-union-jan-2026) [Everything on in San Diego](https://www.ticketfairy.com/events-in-san-diego) - [Fri 18 Oct 2024 · past SD Union w/ Danny Byrd + More Spin Nightclub, San Diego See the event](https://www.ticketfairy.com/event/sd-union-danny-byrd-october-18) [Everything on in San Diego](https://www.ticketfairy.com/events-in-san-diego) - [Fri 16 Jan 2026 · past Bassbunny Presents: Danny Byrd at Kings 1/16/26 Kings, Raleigh See the event](https://www.ticketfairy.com/event/bassbunny-presents-danny-byrd-at-kings-1-16-26-16jan2026) [Everything on in Raleigh](https://www.ticketfairy.com/events-in-raleigh) - [Fri 23 Jun 2023 · past SD Union w/ Bensley B2B Justin Hawkes, Hugh Hardie & MC Fava Spin Nightclub, San Diego See the event](https://www.ticketfairy.com/event/sd-union-w-bensley-b2b-justin-hawkes-hugh-hardie-mc-fava-23jun2023) [Everything on in San Diego](https://www.ticketfairy.com/events-in-san-diego) Share [X](https://twitter.com/intent/tweet?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketfairy.com%2Fword%2F2026%2F01%2F13%2Fsd-union-kicks-off-2026-with-danny-byrd-bensley-and-alpha-rhythm.md&text=SD+Union+Kicks+off+2026+With+Danny+Byrd%2C+Bensley+and+Alpha+Rhythm) [Facebook](https://www.facebook.com/sharer/sharer.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketfairy.com%2Fword%2F2026%2F01%2F13%2Fsd-union-kicks-off-2026-with-danny-byrd-bensley-and-alpha-rhythm.md) [WhatsApp](https://api.whatsapp.com/send?text=SD+Union+Kicks+off+2026+With+Danny+Byrd%2C+Bensley+and+Alpha+Rhythm+https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketfairy.com%2Fword%2F2026%2F01%2F13%2Fsd-union-kicks-off-2026-with-danny-byrd-bensley-and-alpha-rhythm.md) ## Denver C Tracking stories in music with a focus on festivals, events, gigs, and sustainability.
