Alok played a one-hour mind-bending set for the attendees bidding farewell to 2025 and ringing in the new year with music, dancing, and joy. The celebration also saw Brazilian singer-songwriter Gilberto Gil and Brazilian singer-songwriter and dancer IZA showcase their skills. As the clock struck twelve and the new year commenced, 1200 drones headed to the sky to put on a show for viewers. Moreover, nineteen barrages were employed for a twelve-minute fireworks display that lit up the sky to welcome the new year. This event is reported to have been attended by a whopping 2.5 million people, with Guinness World Records [certifying](https://edm.com/news/alok-djs-record-setting-new-years-eve-party/) it as the world’s largest New Year’s Eve celebration, as per EDM.com.
