This dance music-focused project sees renowned EDM artists showcase their remixing skills on the EGOT winner’s epic songs. Elton John’s ‘Positiva Presents: Elton John – The Remixes’ is scheduled to be released on April 18, 2026.  This Remix LP featuring two sides will be pressed on glow-in-the-dark vinyl. It opens with an extended mix of the popular track ‘Cold Heart’ with Dua Lipa from genre-defying DJ and curator **The Blessed Madonna**. The remix album will have an availability of just 7,500 units globally, as per [Nexus Radio](https://nexus.radio/news/elton-john-curates-glow-in-the-dark-remix-lp-for-record-store-day-2026). Side A of the project features **The 2 Bears** Remix Edit of ‘Sad’ by Elton John and Australian dance music act PNAU, ‘Philadelphia Freedom – Shine A Light Remix,’ and an extended mix of ‘Hold Me Closer’ with Britney Spears from German nu-disco and house music star **Purple Disco Machine**.  > [View this post on Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/p/DUWJAxajaa7/?utm_source=ig_embed&utm_campaign=loading) > > [A post shared by Positiva Records (@positivarecs)](https://www.instagram.com/p/DUWJAxajaa7/?utm_source=ig_embed&utm_campaign=loading) German tech house heavyweight **Claptone**’s remixing skills will be on display as he reimagines Elton John and Dua Lipa’s ‘Cold Heart’ on Side B. A mix of 1988’s ‘I Don’t Wanna Go On With You Like That’ by visionary producer, remixer, and songwriter **Shep Pettibone** is next up on the album, followed by a club mix edit of ‘Don’t Go Breaking My Heart’ featuring RuPaul by **Sanchez**. John’s curated remix album concludes with a **KDME**remix of the 1972 seminal track ‘Rocket Man.’ This release from Positiva, a dance music record label founded in 1993 in the UK, will be distributed solely via RSD retailers. Grab your copy of ‘Positiva Presents: Elton John – The Remixes’ this Record Store Day in April.  **For more updates about electronic dance music, ** **follow TFword on [Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/tf.word/) | [Facebook](https://www.facebook.com/thefckingword) | [X](https://x.com/thefckingword)** **You May Also Like:** [DJ Checklist: High-Impact Bass Tracks for Peak-Time Sets](https://www.ticketfairy.com/word/2026/02/17/dj-checklist-high-impact-bass-tracks-for-peak-time-sets) [Fred Again, FKA Twigs, and More Up For BRIT Awards 2026](https://www.ticketfairy.com/word/2026/02/09/fred-again-fka-twigs-and-more-up-for-brit-awards-2026) [Rewriting Rave With Punk DNA: Inside STVW’s Sonic Rebellion](https://www.ticketfairy.com/word/2026/02/13/rewriting-rave-with-punk-dna-inside-stvws-sonic-rebellion) Share [X](https://twitter.com/intent/tweet?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketfairy.com%2Fword%2F2026%2F02%2F26%2Felton-johns-curated-remix-lp-to-include-claptone-purple-disco-machine-and-more.md&text=Elton+John%E2%80%99s+Curated+Remix+LP+to+Include+Claptone%2C+Purple+Disco+Machine%2C+and+More) [Facebook](https://www.facebook.com/sharer/sharer.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketfairy.com%2Fword%2F2026%2F02%2F26%2Felton-johns-curated-remix-lp-to-include-claptone-purple-disco-machine-and-more.md) [WhatsApp](https://api.whatsapp.com/send?text=Elton+John%E2%80%99s+Curated+Remix+LP+to+Include+Claptone%2C+Purple+Disco+Machine%2C+and+More+https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketfairy.com%2Fword%2F2026%2F02%2F26%2Felton-johns-curated-remix-lp-to-include-claptone-purple-disco-machine-and-more.md) ## Ivanova Writer at TFword with an interest in music, television series, films, and pop culture.
