Reuniting with American hard dance act **GRAVEDGR** following their work together in 2025, the single marks NEGITIV’s first official release of 2026 and her debut on Insomniac’s newly launched imprint. It’s a tune that’s designed for peak-time chaos. The way ‘RAKATA’ merges the distinct sonic identities of NEGITIV and GRAVEDGR into a high-intensity, club-focused cut is a sight, or rather a tune, to behold. Relentless percussion, distorted textures, and high-tempo momentum are the foundations of the tune, combining NEGITIV’s precision and controlled aggression with GRAVEDGR’s raw, hard-hitting energy. [Spotify Embed: RAKATA](https://open.spotify.com/embed/album/5FGkEBe7nXR0Lzzq40TYPr?utm_source=oembed) Emerging from the success of Insomniac’s MUTATE party series, the label comes together as an extension of the concept and positions itself at the forefront of harder, faster electronic music, spanning hard techno, hardgroove, acid, psy and fast-rave hybrids. With a roster that includes artists such as Charlie Sparks and AZYR, MUTATE also distinguishes itself through its artist-first approach, enabling producers to retain ownership of their work while delivering uncompromising club-focused releases. Now one of the fastest-rising names on the hard techno circuit, NEGITIV is entering an exciting new phase of her career. The release follows the announcement of her extensive ‘Me & My Demons’ Tour, which currently sees NEGITIV performing across key global venues and festivals that define the contemporary hard techno landscape. ****For more music updates and insights into dance music, follow TFword on [Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/tf.word/) | [Facebook](https://www.facebook.com/thefckingword) | [X](https://x.com/thefckingword)**** **You May Also Like:** [Lauer’s Timeless Instinct for Connecting Dance Music Generations](https://www.ticketfairy.com/word/2026/04/09/lauers-timeless-instinct-for-connecting-dance-music-generations) [Storm Mollison Lands Her Heist Recordings Debut with ‘A.L.T.’ EP](https://www.ticketfairy.com/word/2026/03/27/storm-mollison-lands-her-heist-recordings-debut-with-a-l-t-ep) [&FRIENDS Festival Announces First Wave of Artists](https://www.ticketfairy.com/word/2026/04/08/friends-festival-announces-first-wave-of-artists) Share [X](https://twitter.com/intent/tweet?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketfairy.com%2Fword%2F2026%2F04%2F13%2Fnegitiv-joins-forces-with-gravedgr-on-explosive-new-single-rakata.md&text=NEGITIV+Joins+Forces+With+GRAVEDGR+on+Explosive+New+Single%2C+%E2%80%98RAKATA%E2%80%99) [Facebook](https://www.facebook.com/sharer/sharer.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketfairy.com%2Fword%2F2026%2F04%2F13%2Fnegitiv-joins-forces-with-gravedgr-on-explosive-new-single-rakata.md) [WhatsApp](https://api.whatsapp.com/send?text=NEGITIV+Joins+Forces+With+GRAVEDGR+on+Explosive+New+Single%2C+%E2%80%98RAKATA%E2%80%99+https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketfairy.com%2Fword%2F2026%2F04%2F13%2Fnegitiv-joins-forces-with-gravedgr-on-explosive-new-single-rakata.md) ## Sagar Deshmukh Drum & Bass head with a tinge of hip shake for Disco.
