To really ‘**[Feel The Bass](https://open.spotify.com/album/5M4LxIPNsHm570ZYvXW5Ps)**,’ the dance music icon steered a citywide junket through New York that merged music, culture, and innovation. First up was a surprise pop-up DJ set in Times Square that saw Benny Benassi perform for a horde of dancers from a DJ booth lodged in a remodeled yellow school bus. In the handful of clips shared online, folks in Times Square can be seen having a blast. [Benny Benassi - Feel The Bass \[Ultra Records\]](https://www.youtube.com/embed/jjD-sTsrEjg?feature=oembed) Benny Benassi literally took the experience to new heights with a late-evening session at The Edge, an outdoor sky deck 100 floors above Manhattan. It made for a stunning showcase of music, lights, and attendees dancing over the transparent glass flooring. In the vein of Dom Whiting’s [DJ on a Bike](https://www.ticketfairy.com/word/2022/08/17/5-dj-on-a-bike-sets-you-should-watch), Benny Benassi closed out the weekend by entering the TD Five Boro Bike Tour. During the 40-mile charitable bike ride, Benassi traveled across all five boroughs on a custom-built cycle equipped with a portable deck blasting tunes along the way. Proceeds from this ride were directed to Bike New York’s free bike education programs. [‘Feel The Bass’ is out now via Ultra Records](https://lnk.to/benny-benassi-feel-the-bass), and it also features collaborations with duo ARTBAT, Felix da Housecat, Tobias Gerard, and more. **For more dance music updates and reviews, keep up with TFword on: [Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/tf.word/) | [Facebook](https://www.facebook.com/thefckingword) | [X](https://x.com/thefckingword)** **You May Also Like**: [Armin van Buuren Signals ASOT Debut in Vietnam From Atop a Moving Bus](https://www.ticketfairy.com/word/2026/01/29/armin-van-buuren-signals-asot-debut-in-vietnam-from-atop-a-moving-bus) [5 DJ on a Bike Sets You Should Watch](https://www.ticketfairy.com/word/2022/08/17/5-dj-on-a-bike-sets-you-should-watch) [Where Does The Next DJ Booth Pop Up?](https://www.ticketfairy.com/word/2025/04/11/where-does-the-next-dj-booth-pop-up) Share [X](https://twitter.com/intent/tweet?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketfairy.com%2Fword%2F2026%2F05%2F22%2Fbenny-benassi-unleashes-new-album-feel-the-bass-across-new-york.md&text=Benny+Benassi+Unleashes+New+Album%2C+%E2%80%98Feel+The+Bass%2C%E2%80%99+Across+New+York) [Facebook](https://www.facebook.com/sharer/sharer.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketfairy.com%2Fword%2F2026%2F05%2F22%2Fbenny-benassi-unleashes-new-album-feel-the-bass-across-new-york.md) [WhatsApp](https://api.whatsapp.com/send?text=Benny+Benassi+Unleashes+New+Album%2C+%E2%80%98Feel+The+Bass%2C%E2%80%99+Across+New+York+https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketfairy.com%2Fword%2F2026%2F05%2F22%2Fbenny-benassi-unleashes-new-album-feel-the-bass-across-new-york.md) ## Denver C Tracking stories in music with a focus on festivals, events, gigs, and sustainability.
