JORDAN and Tom Everett have joined forces for ‘All I Ever,’ a collaboration that finds common ground between the emotional pull of a song and the physical demands of a club track. Out now via Ninja Tune, the release is the second in a trilogy of singles from I. JORDAN on the London-based label, following September’s ‘Give Me Some More’. That release picked up support from BBC Radio 6 Music’s Nemone, Deb Grant and Nathan Shepherd, alongside Radio 1’s Sarah Story. Where ‘Give Me Some More’ leaned into expressive vocals and piano-led house, ‘All I Ever’ carries that openness into the pair’s first collaboration. Angelic harmonies carry the refrain, while kaleidoscopic synths and supple drums build towards the emotional breakdown at its center. The tension comes from the way those elements work together: the vocal gives the track its tenderness, while the rhythm keeps it connected to the dancefloor. Melancholy runs through the arrangement, even as it reaches for euphoria. “I’ve been a fan of Tom Everett for years, and I’m very proud of this track as our first-ever collaboration. It felt very seamless! I think the track is a balance of happy/sad euphoria that gets me in my feels, especially that big emotional breakdown,” said I. JORDAN The collaboration took shape during a session earlier this year, with Everett bringing in a rough idea that developed into a near-complete arrangement before he went home. I. JORDAN helped shape that starting point around what would work in a club, while the pair kept the emotional character of the idea intact. Rather than leaving the session with a sketch to revisit, they had already found the structure of the record. [I. Jordan’s an expert in what works on a dancefloor, so it was a bit of a masterclass watching them add to and work with this rough idea I had to make it work in a club. What we ended up with feels like the perfect mix of both our sounds and ultimately the very thing we set out to make in the first place – emotional, euphoric and club ready,” Tom Everett revealed about the collaboration. For the Doncaster-born, London-based I. JORDAN, that relationship between personal expression and collective release has long shaped their work. Their 2024 debut album, ‘I AM JORDAN,’ drew on Northern dance sounds, including donk and hardstyle, alongside house and trance, placing trans joy and community at the heart of the record. It went on to feature among BBC Radio 6 Music’s Albums of the Year. Remixes for Romy and Pet Shop Boys, as well as tours with Fred again.. and Flume, show the reach their music has developed beyond their own releases. Their 2026 output has taken them to Peach Discs and Armada Music, while this run of Ninja Tune singles continues to explore the emotional possibilities of their club sound. On ‘All I Ever,’ that comes through in the space given to the vocal and the breakdown, with both carrying as much weight as the drums beneath them. Everett brings his own history of turning an initial idea into a record that connects with a wider audience. His breakthrough single, ‘Patti,’ released on 3Beat in 2020, caught the attention of BBC Introducing’s Jaguar, who premiered it on Radio 1.
