***The Manchester-born brand commemorates 10 years of disco with its biggest homecoming show yet at The Warehouse Project, alongside a three-room takeover at London’s Drumsheds.***

Ten years ago, a simple idea took shape in Manchester. What if the spirit of New York’s disco heyday could be rebuilt for the 21st-century dancefloor? That idea belonged to Kat Warburton, founder of La Discothèque, and her glittering vision has since grown into one of the UK’s most recognizable party outlets.

Drawing inspiration from Paradise Garage, a legendary New York City nightclub that helped shape modern club culture, disco and the evolution of house music, and the glitz of Studio 54, La Discothéque has evolved from an intimate party into an internationally renowned event series built around a family-first ethos, celebrating individuality and a shared love of the dancefloor. Known for its immersive atmosphere and high-energy productions, each event blends vibrant disco sounds, high-glamour theatrics and extravagant visuals to create an experience that brings the spirit of the dancefloor to life.

The story began on November 12, 2016, when La Discothèque performed for the first time at Albert Hall. What started as a single night in one city quickly became something far bigger. Over the following decade, the brand took its mirrorballs, sequins and shimmering sound to events across the UK and beyond, building a dedicated community of dancers who return for the music, the costumes and the striking sense of joy the experience offered. Earlier this year, that journey reached the sun-soaked shores of Ibiza, with a summer residency at 528 Ibiza that carried the La Discothèque spirit to an international crowd.

Now, a decade on, the brand marks its 10th anniversary with two major venue takeovers this November, with each a celebration of how far it has come. The anniversary begins where it all started. On November 7, La Discothèque returns to Manchester for its biggest homecoming show to date. In doing so, the collective makes its **debut at The Warehouse Project**, one of the city’s most celebrated names in club culture. The event will take over all five rooms of Depot Mayfield, transforming the cavernous space into a multi-room disco playground. For a brand that began in a single room at Albert Hall, the scale of the occasion speaks for itself. It is a full-circle moment in many ways, bringing a decade-long journey back to the city that gave La Discothèque its first dancefloor and the people who helped build it along the way.

The party then heads south. On November 13, La Discothèque takes over **London’s Drumsheds** with a packed three-room production, extending the anniversary celebrations to the capital for a second night of groove and nostalgia.

Speaking on the milestone, founder **Kat Warburton** shares, “To celebrate this momentous 10-year milestone, we’re hosting two huge anniversary shows, one week apart, with The Warehouse Project representing the North and Drumsheds in London hosting the South.

Manchester and London have both played an integral role in the La Discothèque journey, so it felt only right to celebrate our tenth birthday with two official parties in these iconic venues, falling between the anniversary of our very first event on 12th November 2016. I feel incredibly blessed to have taken La Discothèque to its tenth year. Over the past decade, we’ve built something truly special, driven by an incredible community that has supported us every step of the way. We can’t wait to bring everyone together this November to celebrate ten years of La Discothèque in the way it deserves.”

The Manchester celebration will bring together a diverse line-up of disco, house and electronic music talent, with Basement Jaxx (DJ Set), Groove Armada (DJ Set), Annie Mac, Dombresky presents Disco Dom, DJ Paulette, Gerd Janson B2B Krystal Klear, Jayda G, Hunee b2b Luke Una, CC:DISCO! and more. Spread across the Depot, Concourse, Archive, Vault and Star & Garter 54, the event will showcase a range of sounds and styles, bringing together established names and contemporary selectors for a city-wide celebration of disco culture.

Meanwhile, the London edition at Drumsheds will feature performances from Purple Disco Machine, Folamour and Dan Shake, alongside the return of the La Discothèque Orchestra. The program will also feature a dedicated room curated by Jayda G, Ron Trent, Jennifer Loveless, Tarzsa, Heléna Star, Daisybelle and more. With multiple spaces hosting distinct sounds and selections, the Drumsheds takeover will extend the celebration across London’s clubbing landscape.

La Discothèque’s next chapter is expanding into North America, Europe and Asia, with founder Kat Warburton leading as CEO as they build on a decade of growth. With a full circle homecoming at The Warehouse Project in Manchester and its biggest return yet to London’s Drumsheds, La Discothèque is celebrating how far it has come while setting the stage for the next ten years.
