Keep watching this space for your weekly dose of fresh music!<\/p>\n<h3>Bloc Party \u2013 Traps [Single]<\/h3>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Bloc Party - Traps (Official Video)\" width=\"702\" height=\"395\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/0Y86GEcmcnw?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>English rock band <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/thisisblocparty\/\">Bloc Party<\/a> released their first single in 5 years \u2013 \u2018Traps\u2019, the first one from their upcoming album \u2018Alpha Games\u2019, which is slated to release on April 29, 2022. The band return to their roots with an indie-reminiscent sound from their early days in 2004-05, typically with vocalist <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/keleokerekefuckyeah\/\">Kele Okereke<\/a> pioneering style of vocals, which has been a defining factor of the band\u2019s sound over the years.<\/p>\n<h3>Corner Caf\u00e9 Chronicles \u2013 D.I.Y. GENERATION [Single]<\/h3>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"DIY GENERATION\" width=\"702\" height=\"527\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/dQ_sg0TJBQw?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Alternative \/ experimental band from Mumbai, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/cornercafechronicles\/\">Corner Caf\u00e9 Chronicles<\/a> dropped a new single \u2018D.I.Y. GENERATION\u2019, putting into perspective the political environment the country finds itself in. Going off-path from their \u2018sound\u2019 so to speak, the band opts to rail in their punk rock side and that makes \u2018D.I.Y. GENERATION\u2019 a power-packed, rebellious and thought-provoking song. The purpose of the song, according to the band, is to aid people in their journey of thinking, question their surroundings and find their identity amidst everything. This single is the second one off of their upcoming album \u2018Renaissance II\u2019, a follow-up to July 2020\u2019s \u2018Renaissance\u2019.<\/p>\n<h3>Sanjeev T &amp; RANJ \u2013 Underdog [Single]<\/h3>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Underdog\" width=\"702\" height=\"527\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/qahmRL9-fek?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>After suffering a massive heart attack and beating death in early December \u201921, brilliant guitar player and music producer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/sanjeevtmusic\/\">Sanjeev T<\/a> released a single \u2018Underdog\u2019, written and performed by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/ranjaniramadoss\/\">RANJ<\/a>, the fifth single from his upcoming album \u2018Future\u2019. The song underlines how he has always been the underdog in a music industry that lives on trends, and how he has always chosen to shy away from them, maintaining his unique stance and musicality all the way through. The song features the prolific singer and ex-bandmate (from Rainbow Bridge) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/bennydayalofficial\/\">Benny Dayal<\/a> playing bass and is mastered by Grammy winning engineer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/padeepak\/\">Deepak PA<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>Mary J. Blige \u2013 Good Morning Gorgeous [Single]<\/h3>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Mary J. Blige - Good Morning Gorgeous [Official Video]\" width=\"702\" height=\"395\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/jr1CRMkBVs8?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The timeless voice of American R&amp;B, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/therealmaryjblige\/\">Mary J. Blige<\/a> dropped the title track of her upcoming album that is slated to release on February 11, 2022 \u2013 \u2018Good Morning Gorgeous\u2019. The soulful, string-led song is based on the singer daily affirmation to herself \u2013 \u201cgood morning, gorgeous\u201d \u2013 which helps her overcome the struggles of self-doubt, encouraging and stressing that self-love is as important as any other love in one\u2019s life. Some of the lyrics question why she hated herself, why she wanted to be another person when she could have been gentle and careful. She celebrates that she has earned the right to say to herself \u201cI feel amazing\u201d, an inspiration to all those shrouded in self-doubt, needing to be inspired by a soothing voice of truth.<\/p>\n<h3>Clifr x Tintin \u2013 Hot Summer [Single]<\/h3>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Clifr x Tintin - Hot Summer\" width=\"702\" height=\"395\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/jDFqSdGxnDQ?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The first song to be revealed from their upcoming collaborative album \u2018Meet Me Halfway\u2019, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/clifr.omg\/\">Clifr<\/a> x <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/whothefuckistintin\/\">Tintin<\/a> dropped a fresh new single \u2018Hot Summer\u2019, with an accompanying music video directed by the very talented Bangalore-based filmmaker <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/lendrickumar\/\">Lendrick Kumar<\/a>. Typically \u201canother day in the life of a gangster\u201d type of song, as Clifr describes it, the emphatic horns kick in that OG vibe, with the visuals aiding that retro 70\u2019s gangster look brandishing (hopefully fake) guns and slinging about Bangalore in an old Premier Padmini car.<\/p>\n<h3>UKATO &#8211; DELHI SHUFFLER [SINGLE]<\/h3>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"UKato - &#039;Delhi Shuffler&#039;\" width=\"702\" height=\"395\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/LIdLTMPqBbk?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Another week with some killer Drum &amp; bass to cover but this release is special. Utkarsh Singh aka <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/ukato.music\/\">UKato<\/a> is the first Indian to release an EP on RAM Records\u2019 offshoot label, PorgRAM. His 4-track \u2018Aether\u2019 EP features 4 cuts of power-packed DNB and our favourite from the EP is the sweltering bubbler called \u2018Delhi Shuffler\u2019.<\/p>\n<h3>ENEI &amp; KASRA &#8211; CODE WORDS [ALBUM]<\/h3>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Enei &amp; Kasra -  Code Words\" width=\"702\" height=\"395\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/vxfmpbKB9w0?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>We have been listening to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/kasracritical\/\">Kasra<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/eneimusique\/\">Enei<\/a> coming together make music but never did we imagine that they would make an album together. 2021 has been full of surprises and guess what? they have. \u2018Remote Transmissions\u2019 is an 8 track mini-album featuring the low-end goodness of Critical Music\u2019s head honcho Kasra and the ghastly sounds of Russian Drum &amp; Bass don, Enei. Our pick from the album is eerie ripsnorter called \u2018Code Words\u2019.<\/p>\n<h3>ELIZA ROSE &amp; PEAKY BEATS &#8211; FLOWERS (INTROSPEKTS SPRING IN LA MIX) [SINGLE]<\/h3>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Eliza Rose, Peaky Beats - Flowers (Introspekts Spring in LA Mix) [Rosebud Recordings]\" width=\"702\" height=\"395\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/P_qSRUjVP74?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>UK-based label Rosebud Recordings feature a wide range of music styles Soul, Blues and Jazz with their signature UK Garage sounds. Label boss Eliza Rose has released three reworks of her tunes and our pick from the \u2018Plant Lovers RR004\u2019 is the bouncy summertime UKG remix of Eliza Rose\u2019s Flowers by one of the hottest prospects int eh UKG world, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/sage_introspekt\/\">Introspekt<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>TMSV &#8211; STAY CLOSED [SINGLE]<\/h3>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"TMSV -  Stay Closed [Audio]\" width=\"702\" height=\"395\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/lBqsVryY7ck?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Dutch Bass Music producer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/tmsvmusic\/\">TMSV<\/a>, who is regarded as one of the kings of sub bass and percussions has released a 4-tracker on legendary Dubstep label, Deep Medi, to close the imprint\u2019s year with a thumping release. \u2018Stay Closed\u2019 a sonic rich steppy Dubstep number loaded with TMSV\u2019s trademark bass catches.<\/p>\n<h3>THANDI DRAAI &#8211; IRIS (ATMOS BLAQ REMIX) [SINGLE]<\/h3>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Dave Mathmos - Addio Ragazza Ciao\" width=\"702\" height=\"395\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Gtr66_15aHw?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Get Physical Music are closing their year with an EP taken from Thandi Draai&#8217;s standout Africa Gets Physical Vol. 4 compilation, which is due for release in January 2022. The EP is an authoritative insight into the current African House scene and its heavy hitters.
