The largest outdoor techno festival has returned with a bang! Awakenings Festival is set<\/a> to celebrate its 25th anniversary in style with a three-day event. The festival will take place in Hilvarenbeek, Netherlands, from July 29 to 31, offering revelers the opportunity to stay the night for the first time ever. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“After two missed Awakenings Festivals, we\u2019re happy and proud to announce that in 2022, we\u2019re celebrating our 25th anniversary with the biggest and best festival we\u2019ve ever hosted,” announced<\/a> Awakenings Festival on their website. “We\u2019ll be returning with the new Awakenings Summer Festival, moving to a brand-new location, adding an extra day and a campsite plus the biggest programming we\u2019ve ever had,” they added<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With over 130 acts, Awakenings Summer Festival 2022 Camping Weekend aims<\/a> to have “a summer like never before.” The massive lineup<\/a> consists of a slew of new and upcoming talents. Jeff Mills, Robert Hood, Ellen Allien, Skream, The Blessed Madonna, Nina Kraviz, and Imogen are some artists who will perform at Awakenings. These artists will occupy nine indoor and outdoor stages at the festival. The program will extend into the night (until 5 am) on Friday and Saturday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Revelers have four options<\/a> to enjoy the weekend. They can choose single-day tickets, weekend camping with their own tent, pre-set-up tent, or cottages and safari tents. The latter three will have access to the campsite and festival area. “Wellness and beauty areas with passages and hot tubs, pop-up parties, a 24\/7 movie theatre, sports and art programmes, workshops and a vintage clothing market,” are facilities available to the campers, as per Mixmag<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following Awakening’s cancellation twice due to the pandemic, the organizers announced two festivals for 2022 in lieu of its anniversary celebration. An Awakenings Easter Festival<\/a> was held on April 16-17 this year in Spaarnwoude, and now the Awakenings Summer Festival – the only<\/a> three-day techno festival in the Netherlands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
