Dubstep veteran Zomboy released his debut EP, ‘Dead Man Walking Pt. 1.’, on Rott n\u2019 Roll Records. The label was founded by Zomboy earlier this year, and ‘Dead Man Walking Pt. 1.’ marks its inaugural release. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The four-track EP features vocalist Micah Martin and electronic musician MUST DIE! Within the transient EP, Zomboy can be heard exploring newer sounds as well as scouring his signature dubstep resonance. “‘Dead Man Walking Pt.1\u2019 has so many levels of meaning to me. While it may be short, I feel the attention to detail is some of my best to date. It also marks the first major release of my very own label \u2018Rott N\u2019 Roll Records,'” said<\/a> Zomboy in a statement.<\/p>\n\n\n

\u201cNothing helps me write music more than creating a big theoretical concept to work towards. In my head there is a deep underlying truth in this record, but for the sake of explanation\u2026, \u2018Dead Man Walking Pt.1\u2019 is the story of a man returning to a civilization he had once abandoned after helping them defeat a common enemy (Rott N\u2019 Roll Pt. 1 & 2),” he added<\/a>, explaining the meaning and intention behind his EP. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zomboy spent more than a decade in the realm of dubstep music, having debuted in 2011 with his track ‘Organ Donor’. With the cessation of his previous label – Never Say Die Records, the artist took matters into his own hands and announced the creation of Rott N’ Roll Records. ‘Flatlined’ with Micah Martin was the first release via his new imprint. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
