Copyright image by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2020\/08\/31\/arts\/dance\/arts-on-the-roof-chelsea-ainsworth.html\">Douglas Segars for The New York Times<\/a><\/p><\/div>\n<p>Ainsworth inaugurated the series with dance performances by the contemporary percussive ensemble, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thebanggroup.com\/\">The Bang Group<\/a>, led by David Parker and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dualrivetdance.com\/\">Dual Rivet<\/a>, Ainsworth\u2019s collaboration with Jessica Smith. Other troupes scheduled to feature are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.welcometocampfire.com\/\">Welcome to Campfire<\/a>; contemporary dance group <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sparkmovementcollective.org\/\">Spark Movement Collective<\/a> with the contemporary dance-theater group, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rovacodance.com\/\">Rovaco Dance Company<\/a>; and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.clickonbreaktime.com\">Breaktime<\/a>. At $30 a ticket, only twenty attendees will be allowed per performance to ensure proper social distancing.
