Their 26th edition will see award categories for artists from across the world, including global sensations in the main categories.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The awards show opened a Best India Act category in 2012 for the first time. Public voting is said to close on 2nd November, and the 2020 EMAs will air on Vh1 India on 9th November 2020. Last year, under the Best India Act category, hip hop artist Emiway Bantai won the award with his strong fan following, competing with alternative artist Komorebi, Indian rock band Parikrama, India\u2019s most celebrated singer-songwriter Prateek Kuhad, and pop\/rap artist Raja Kumari.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For the 2020 edition of the nominations, we have singer-songwriter and playback singer Armaan Malik, India\u2019s most reputed rapper Divine, rap artist Kaam Bhaari, Punjabi artist Prabh Deep, and Kannada rapper Siri with Delhi-based producer Sez on the Beat. Do check out the songs each of these artists were nominated for below here:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><br \/>\nArmaan Malik<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This is Armaan Malik\u2019s debut English single \u2018Control.\u2019 The 25-year old singer-songwriter owes much of his popularity to playback singing on popular Bollywood songs, but this single is a refreshing, unique track, adding another language to Armaan\u2019s diverse capabilities and versatility.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Armaan Malik - Control (Official Music Video)\" width=\"702\" height=\"395\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/n_kZi0i-CsM?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><b><br \/>\nDivine<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Currently India\u2019s most famed rapper, Divine released his single <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Chal Bombay <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">in January. The commercial appeal to the track comes from the Latin-style beat, not to miss out on Divine\u2019s four lines in <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Konkani, <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the local language spoken in Goa, and parts of the Konkan coast (western coast of the Indian peninsula). Since Divine is from Goa itself, the song seemed like a pleasant surprise when compared to the usual hip hop music he\u2019d been releasing.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"DIVINE \u2013 Chal Bombay | Official Music Video\" width=\"702\" height=\"395\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/FS9dkwhPypY?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><b><br \/>\nKaam Bhaari<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This single by Kaam Bhaari, produced by sibling duo <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">R?khis <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(Shikhar Yuvraj Manchanda) and Nuka (Anushka Manchanda), Kaam Bhaari expresses a heart-broken state through this song. The production stands out, creating a new identity for itself instead of the typical trap sound engulfing Indian hip hop today.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Mohabbat  | Kaam Bhaari | R?khis &amp; Kiss Nuka  | IncInk\" width=\"702\" height=\"395\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/6xJypoyQFnQ?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><b><br \/>\nPrabh Deep<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Delhi-based hip hop artist is nominated for his single \u2018Chitta\u2019, which did many successful rounds with a lyric video, remix, freestyle dance video, and official animated music video. Her success has pretty much been off work she has done independently and with brands.
