They performed at the Grapevine Gathering last year and are scheduled to take the When We Were Young stage in Las Vegas this October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Luude<\/strong><\/strong> is known widely for his solo works and contributions to the electronic music duo Choomba. He has played at many reputed festivals, including Tomorrowland, Creamfields, and Reading. The DJ took home the best dance electronic release trophy at the ARIA awards in 2022 for his track ‘Down Under’ featuring Colin Hay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n New Zealand-born multi-instrumentalist Jordan Rakei <\/strong>is a London-based artist whose talent was also exhibited on the NPR Tiny Desk Concert series. He has had gigs across the UK, Europe, and Australia, and has also performed at festivals during his career.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Black Seeds\u2019<\/strong><\/strong> sound includes reggae, soul, dub, and funk. Along with performing at venues and festivals across New Zealand, their music has also reached the One Love Festival New Zealand and Jim Beam Homegrown last year. Last month, they were the supporting act for American singer-songwriter Jack Johnson. The Black Seeds\u2019 latest musical release is a ten-track album titled \u2018Love & Fire,\u2019 which was rolled out in June 2022. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Australian psychedelic rock band Babe Rainbow <\/strong>are also on the bill for That Weekend 2023. Since debuting in the mid-2010s, the effervescent outfit has released five full-length album with the most recent one being ‘The Organic Band’ (2022). They have taken the Desert Daze, Splendour in the Grass, and BASSINTHEGRASS stages, amongst others, and has also toured across the US. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Flamingo Pier <\/strong>is a music collective that plays live music, throws dance parties, and gets behind the decks at remarkable events. They were on the Le Currents line-up and played at Soundway Sunday Session, Shoreline Festival in Egypt, and The Longline Classic. In November 2022, they unveiled the line-up for the first Waiheke Festival 2023, scheduled to take place next month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Australian DJ Hot Dub Time Machine <\/strong>had numerous gigs last year, including Printworks London and Mardi Gras New Zealand. For 2023, they are scheduled to take the Dream Machine stage in Bali and Camp Bestival Dorset in the UK, along with That Weekend 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Summer Thieves<\/strong>, a band made up of four friends, have previously performed at Soundsplash and Rhythm and Vines. Having toured Australia and New Zealand in 2022, they will play as part of the 2023 line-up of the upcoming Electric Avenue Music Festival. Summer Thieves amassed over 4 million streams on Spotify last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Frank Booker <\/strong>has toured across Europe, Japan, the USA, and Australia and offers outstanding DJ sets. He has played alongside Moodymann, Dam Funk, and Fran\u00e7ois K. Booker has also gotten behind the decks for private events, including those for Prince.<\/p>\n\n\n\n T?maki based DJ Bbyfacekilla <\/strong><\/strong>played at Northern Bass last year and will head to the Laneway Festival NZ and 121 Festival after That Weekend 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n DJ Half Queen <\/strong>has been busy with gigs across Europe, New Zealand, and the UK. They also took the Brisbane Festival and Summer Camp Festival stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Rising stars K\u00c9DU CARL\u00d6<\/strong> are an electronic duo comprising best friends Jess Penson and Carly Gill. Their latest musical release is \u2018Sabi Sabi.’<\/p>\n\n\n\n Drummer (with New Zealand\u2019s septet Fat Freddy\u2019s Drop, Ladi6, and Opensouls) and DJ\/producer Julien Dyne <\/strong>is also an electronic music artist. His sound is inspired by instrumental jazz, funk, and hip-hop. <\/p>\n\n\n\n After performing at Soundsplash, Auckland-based band Daffodils <\/strong>toured in Australia and had gigs in New Zealand. They also opened for Grammy-nominated indie rock band Wet Leg at their Auckland show. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Gisborne-born DJ Witters<\/strong>, who is one of the finest producers in the New Zealand drum & bass scene, is set to take That Weekend 2023 with MC Crafty<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Multi-genre artist Bontempo <\/strong><\/strong>got behind the deck at Longline Classic and was also on the Le Currents line-up last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Alternative rock band No Cigar <\/strong>has graced multiple festival stages, including Rhythm and Vines and Outfield. They are set to hit the road in Australia next month. Last year, the group toured across New Zealand in support of their debut album \u2018Bienvenido.’<\/p>\n\n\n\n One of the most exciting artists, WHO SHOT SCOTT, <\/strong>is an Iraqi-born producer who has taken the Soundsplash and Rhythm and Vines stages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n DJ Andyheartthrob performed at Longline Classic last year after previously appearing at Nest Fest and other venues in New Zealand. She is currently experimenting with house and dance music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Electronic producer 33 Below<\/strong>, <\/strong>stage name of Jack Laven, is one of NZ’s top rising DJs. He has played at festivals such as Coro Classic, Rhythm and Vines, That Weekend, and Baseline. The producer has worked with fellow New Zealand singer-songwriter MCK<\/a> on ‘Burning.’<\/p>\n\n\n\n DJ Teto<\/strong>, one half of SYRUP, will take the Summer Classic stage following That Weekend 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Rhys Rich<\/strong><\/strong>, whose music is a blend of RnB, soul, and hip-hop, has been the supporting act for artists including Ladi6, Vayne, Church, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n DJ Sammie <\/strong>will get behind the That Weekend 2023 deck as part of her ongoing summer tour. The producer is making a name for herself in the NZ dance music scene with her unique sound, inspired by 90s house and RnB music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n PARK RD<\/strong><\/strong>, a four-piece indie pop band from West Auckland, toured with Spacey Jane last year and also hit the road in New Zealand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n House and techno DJ Aunty El <\/strong>was on the High Tide and Baseline Festival line-up. She will also set the Jim Beam Homegrown dance floor on fire this March.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Hurricane Emily<\/strong><\/strong> is a DJ who will take the Outfield and Splore stage next month, following their appearance at That Weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n SANOI <\/strong><\/strong>has had releases on some of the most renowned labels, including Bar25 Music, Magician On Duty, and Stil vor Talent. \u201cPlaying @that_weekend in January!!! Can\u2019t wait to share the tunes I have been cooking up over the winter months!\u201d he shared<\/a> on Instagram. The incredible dance music DJ will also take the Splore festival stage this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n New Zealand\u2019s Alba Rose <\/strong>played at Tora Bombora and performed at the Auckland Museum last year. The indie-soul singer-songwriter also had gigs across the country to promote her new single \u2018Mountains.’<\/p>\n\n\n\n Twof\u00f6ld<\/strong><\/strong>, a bass\/dance music DJ duo consisting of Liam Gray and Jared Tooley, graced the Mardi Gras NZ festival for the first time last year. They will culminate their ongoing summer tour at That Weekend 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Drum & bass artist Worthy <\/strong>has been on support duties for Bru-C, Degs, and Hospital Records\u2019 Unglued last year. He was also part of the Rolling Meadows and Longline Classic line-up in 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Zeki, Nice Girl, Matthew Young, and singer-songwriter Cassie Henderson are on the card to perform at That Weekend 2023 next week.
